Title: Stopped holding a charge after less than 2 months.
Review: I had a Fitbit Charge 2 for 6 years. Got a Fitbit Charge 5 in September 2023 that lasted 10 months. Figured it was just the odd lemon, so bought another in July 2024. After less than 2 months, charge starting lasting less than 24 hours. Tried restarting and other suggestions. Then it just died. I'd like a refund, but can't find how to get it in this situation.

Title: Could not pair it with my phone
Review: Nicely packaged (so much so that I was not able to save the packaging to return it). It comes full of promises, and I have owned other Fitbits previously, so relieved the promises. However, no matter what I tried, or who I listen to. I was not able to pair this with my iPhone. I listened to maybe 10 online suggestions of how to do it, I talked with a tech person, I read reviews of other people who have had the same problem. (Apparently it is quite a big discussion group, so I’m guessing it’s a common problem.). Finally I talked with an online tech person again and he suggested that I return it to the manufacturer. I had already used up three hours of my day trying to just get this to work. I did not want to spend another day or many hours mailing this off to a manufacturing representative, and waiting for a resolution of some sort.. So my suggestion to anyone thinking of getting the Fitbit five charger is that you might want to look at another Fitness brand. I am disappointed because I have owned two or three other Fitbits and have always been pleased with them. This one was incredibly disappointing. Also because I cannot return it without the packaging, Isoent over $100 and got nothing in return — including the $100 itself.UPDATE. It took me hours to figure out why this was not pairing with my iPhone. But here is the fix (at least in my case): I previously had a Fitbit five. I deleted the app, but that did not help. I finally figured out I had to go to Bluetooth and delete the old Fitbit so that it could pair with a new one. As soon as I did that, it started pairing. This information, incidentally was not in any of the online forums or tech discussions that I went to. But it does work immediately, at least it did for me. And now I am really liking the Fitbit again. And feel like my money was well spent.

Title: New spyware app makes Fitbit unuseable
Review: I've used a Fitbit for 7 years. Now all of a sudden they have a new phone app that requires I give them the latitude and longitude position of my phone everywhere I go or the watch won't work. It's not enough that they have every beat of my heart they also want to know everywhere I go all the time. After removing the app the watch was off by a minute within a month. Then the watch is programmed to shut down if it hasn't transmitted its data to Fitbit for 30 days. It no longer accepts a charge and goes into the dead mode it was in when first bought. Buyer beware.
