Title: Good. Basic no frills TV
Review: It’s hard to find basic TV’s. No smart functions, which was great for my mom who doesn’t stream or have internet. Simple to use but as expected with this size, sound isn’t great. A$50 soundbar fixed that. Reliable, these is the second unit. The first is still working 5+ years.

Title: This is a great TV for the money.

Title: Good quality TV.
Review: The picture on this television was excellent, as was the audio volume on the one that I received. I did not have a problem with the audio volume as some other reviewers did, although I have a roof antenna which might give a better signal. Given that the volume on mine was more than adequate, I am thinking that the connection might have been the problem for those who found the volume inadequate, or that they may have received a defective item. The TV has two speakers rather than just one which is on the description, and they are placed on the bottom, so they should audible if you use either the legs or a wall mount. It also has an audio menu which includes bass, treble, balance, MTS, digital audio output, surround mode, and AVL (auto volume level). I did not use the audio menu as I felt I didn't need to, so I can't comment on how well it works, but at least there are some options available to adjust the sound (although the quality of the sound on these flat screen TVs is never as nice as the former type with the cabinets). Set up was easy (if you don't go through all the menus at set up), and the remote was easy to use. The only comment I would make is that there are no buttons on the TV itself other than an on/off button on the bottom, so if you lose or damage the remote, you cannot use the TV. I think it would be better to have a few buttons available on the TV itself, even if you usually use the remote. In any case, I thought it was a nice TV for the price.

Review: Lightweight, east to set up right out of the box. I only stream, was able to quickly pare my Roku remote. Volume and picture is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Title: A beautiful picture
Review: This TV has an incredibly beautiful picture. The colors are rich and lifelike without being overly bright as on some LED TV's, including my last one, an Element which this TV is replacing due to blown HDMI ports after only 3 years. The black on this TVis very, very dark too, like a true black, not a grey. I did find the audio to be tinny and annoying, but with some adjustment of the bass and treble in the audio menu, that was easily remedied and now it sounds pretty good, for TV speakers. One thing to note is that the screw holes on back of the TV for attaching to a wall mount bracket are measured for the smaller square radius of the bracket rather than the large one, and on my bracket, that means using the smaller diameter holes. I didn't still have the rest of the original screws that came with the bracket from when I bought my previous TV and the holes that I needed to use on the bracket are the smaller holes, so my screws were too wide to fit the smaller holes. No big deal, just drilled the holes out on the bracket so the screws would fit. The TV does come with the feet if you want to attach it that way however. For the price, I am quite happy with this purchase and this is my second Westinghouse TV, the previous one being an LCD one from many years ago. That TV was given to a friend and he is STILL using it and it has had no major problems or issues of any kind.

Title: Never got it on to see quality
Review: Apparently this tv is a real hit or miss purchase. There is NO padding inside the box on the screen side or back side, which isn't too smart on the manufacturer's side. How it's handled in shipping is the second culprit. I've had larger tv's shipped before and nothing like this has ever happened. The lack of box padding is the ticket.It arrived today and I assembled it. Turned it on and it had the whole crackle effect going up from the bottom of the screen. It was almost like a large pebble had been dropped into water and the splash spread up the screen. Weird. Other different lines too, like lightening. I took pics, but don't think they came out too well. I should have plugged it in and turned it on from the get-go. I would have seen it was broken without hooking up the cable box, etc. For what it's worth, it was an attractive tv, but the screw holes for the legs didn't seem to want to accept the length of the screw ---- or I'm just getting too weak.
