Wet pet’s coat thoroughly with water, then pump shampoo onto pet and rub shampoo into coat starting with head and working back and down. Use about 1 1/3 tablespoons for each 5 lbs. of pet's weight. Do not apply shampoo around eyes. Continue to work lather in over the whole pet for 3 to 5 minutes (this is an important part of the grooming procedure). Rinse pet with warm water and towel dry. For extremely dirty or scaly animals, the above procedure may be repeated. Repeat every 7 to 10 days (if necessary) for adult flea relief. Flea egg hatch inhibition will last for 28 days.. Review: I don't use this shampoo often. I use a gentler formula shampoo & conditioner.HOWEVER, just by chance many years ago when three of our dogs got in a tangle with a skunk, it was all I had on hand. All three dogs got bathed with this shampoo (it took a couple of scrub outs for the corgis) and the skunk smell was gone. I use the sensitive formula and it seems to help break down the oil residue from the skunk spray. My vet has recommended it to other clients and they've all given positive feedback.I haven't used anything else for skunks since I found this little trick. I've used it on our curious, territorial cats as well.I'm writing this now because I just had to bathe 2 dogs after spray & play at 9pm. They're laying in the living room drying off and neither have a skunk odor to to them.I hope this might help others with oily skunk encounters.

This product is thick and it lathers great. It foams up quickly, it did not take long to wash my fur babies. I have two, and as soon as they got their bath. I saw an immediate change, no more scratching. The fleas dropped off while washing. I am amazed and I will use this product forever! I am so thankful for all the reviews I readâ¦..
