Title: These work great for us...
Review: Purchased these Rubbermaid Brillance storage containers to put sugar/brown sugar/flour into. Our old cheap containers were not doing the job and some ants decided that they wanted to partake in all of our sugar supply also. Not going to happen! We have been using Rubbermaid Brillance storage containers for food leftovers for years with great results. So when ants arrived, so did these new containers. Problem solved!These Rubbermaid Brillance storage containers are well made. They are good and sturdy, not thin flimsy plastic. Lids fit very tight and really do seal air (and ants!) out. Very dishwasher safe and can use in your microwave with no problems. Containers do not stain like cheaper plastic ones do.You may pay a bit more for these, but they are really worth the money.

Title: Works well and perfect size
Review: I like that this is a good size and the handle is ergonomic to my hand. It is tough, I have already dropped the lid and body a few times. The dispensing flap can be clicked to stay open and the top stays shut and appears air tight.

Review: My son bought me a set as part of my birthday presents and I am hooked!!! Best containers I've ever had. My addiction. All the sizes. The containers fit inside each other and the lids fit each other. My leftovers last longer, I have a long, big one that I cut a head of lettuce in half, out both halves down and my lettuces lasts a long time.Putting food away has never been easier. All my left over veg prep just go into the smaller sizes. They wash up brilliantly in the dishwasher, things that can stain other products like tomato sauce, I just rub a little Dawn dish soap around and into the dishwasher. No syaining. They freeze, fridge, microwave and dishwasher safe. I'm never looking through a dozen lids to find one that fits. They are airtight so sometimes getting the lid off of leftovers can take some muscle but air tight is what keeps the food fresher longer.I send sets as gifts. I asked my bonus daughter if she liked the set I sent her because I never heard and she got so excited telling me how much she and her man loved them. It blew me away that she was so excited about them. They are in an apartment without a dishwasher until her dad moves and sells them the house so storage is at a premium and dishes is a chore so Rubbermaid Brilliance helps them with both those challenges.Sometimes I feel like I'm a Rubbermaid Brilliance representative I preach them so much and send them to people for gifts.They can be spendy, I wait for sales or returns but the quality is there, it saves me money on food waste, I put away and stack leftovers in the fridge in a jiffy... I never lend them out or send a meal or treats to someone in them, I would never get them back.

Title: Works Great
Review: This rubbermaid plastic container keeps my brown sugar fresh and moist for a long time, I'd guess the sugar I have in it right now is 2 months old at least. I have 2 clay disks in the container within the sugar and each time I use the sugar, I clean and re-wet the clay disks and re-insert back into the brown sugar. The container has a black rubber seal that, when I remove the cover, I have to really pull on it and I hear a vacuum release when it comes off. It fits tight and is a good container for brown sugar given how easily brown sugar dries out. This is a good buy with the clay disks sold separately.

Title: Great storage containers!
Review: These are my favorite containers. They are straight sided and modular in sizes, so they stack well in the pantry or cabinet. Weekend closing, they push air out of the container through small holes under the locking clips. The clips securely hold the container closed, and the seals are airtight. Also, the materially washes up well and remains clear. Worth the price!

Title: Makes a bit of a mess
Review: So I do like this product, it's sturdy and holds an entire bag of flour, but to the brim, which would be fine, if the closures didn't have slits in them to hinge. When you close the lid it blows flour out the hinge holes until your flour is down about a 1/4 of the container. It does keep flour airtight, but it makes a mess every time you close it. I still use it and recommend it, just be aware.

Review: The quality of the containers is excellent. Not flimsy plastic, but hard and sturdy, that will stand up to use.The lids fit extremely well. A very good seal. And I like that they are more upright for sitting on a shelf, so as not to take up space due to being too slanted on the sides. With these, I can safely store more unusual flours that I don't use everyday. They are attractive enough to be on open shelving.
