Title: My dad loves it
Review: I bought this for my dad who has deformed feet with several partial toe amputations, which makes it difficult to clean his feet around and between his toes. He thought it was a waste when I bought it anddid not expect to like it at all. He ended up loving it! We were able to get his entire feet completely clean and wonderful feeling. He has larger feet, size 13 D, and one is deformed making it very large around the instep and arch. (Charcot joint in case that helps anyone decided if they can use this or not.) We were able to fit this foot in the spa with no trouble. The edge of the top where the controls are could be risky for diabetic feet and must be carefully avoided, but this is not difficult to do as long as you take your time putting your feet in and taking them out. Some reviews have complained about the lack of temperature control. This is the lower end Homedics foot spa, so there is no temperature control. The temperature must be set and maintained by adding the temperature of water you want. If a temperature control feature is important to you, it will require a step up in the product line. I assume that the higher end product lines will also produce more bubbles. The bubbles were very adequate for us and I was actually surprised at the amount of bubbles. I did find that if you put anything in the water, such as soap or soak granules the bubbles decrease. It seems this is likely due to obstruction of the holes that releases the air to produce the bubbles. I had to take a little extra time to clean these out after I used liquid soap as a soak.It was not very loud but we had a small area rug and then we placed a towel under it. The cats weren't even afraid of it after a few minutes. We're both extremely satisfied and surprised by this spa. This review is for:HoMedics Bubble Mate Foot Spa, Toe Touch Controlled Foot Bath with Invigorating Bubbles and Spas..

Title: Be Aware! No real Heat, NO EPSOM SALT ALLOWED!
Review: You can NOT use OILS (like a few drops of tea tree oil), soaps, OR SALTS.. NOTHING! I bought this to use epsom salts with it. You can't! It does not really heat the water and after 30 minutes you can burn out the motor!? I gave 4 stars but never used it. Good overall design.. For a cool water soak..?? Not what I bought it for. No different from a shower. You get your feet wet.. With some bubbles. Save your money .. Buy a good pumice stone.. A regular plastic tub and salts. Use a ceramic tea (or kettle) pot to pour a little heat in at a time to heat a big cheap dish tub. One with a handle is best..or a handled bucket to fill. This is mostly pointless! IT IS ONLY for plain WATER! Designers take note: salts, oils, real heat are needed! With a shut off timer. And a ground fault. Its water + electricity.. We would pay for features. As a plain water foot soak.. Go for it. Dissapointed.

Title: The best foot bath
Review: This foot bath is compact enough that it wonât take that much space. Itâs comfortable and provides a good massage with minimal vibration effect. I like that it actually works for what is meant to be the best water foot massage. It a bit noisy but it doesnât bother me.

Title: Unimpressive
Review: I just used the HoMedics Bubble Mate Foot Spa for the first time. It was a mediocre experience, though minimally satisfactory.Pros: Using this product beats having to soak your foot in a pot that may or may not have a big enough diameter to fit your feet. Also, this product has bubbles.Cons:1. The fill line in the basin is very hard to see. Itâs quite important; you donât want to fill the basin so full with water that the water slaps over the side and wets the electrical cord! The manufacturers of this product need to outline the fill line and its accompanying label in blue so it can be seen easily. How many consumers want to spend a few minutes, as I did, searching for the fill line?2. The bubbles are extremely gentle. They werenât strong enough to really massage my feet.3. I used warm water per the instructions, as those instructions clearly state that they do not heat cold water. However, those instructions at least imply that the warm water will stay warm; the fourth step of the operating instructions states âPress power button once to turn on bubbles and heat.â I felt little to no heat coming out of the unit. Perhaps a little came out, since I started with hot water, and used the unit for a long time; the water is now lukewarm rather than cold. But in my opinion, if the unit heated the water at all, it certainly didnât heat it enough.I havenât tried the pumice stone yet.Additional note: the instructions said not to put anything but water into the basin. I added some vinegar and nothing negative seems to have happened.I will probably keep this foot-basin, just in case I have more problems with my feet in the future and need to soak them. But I donât recommend that others buy this product, unless they do not already own a pot large enough to soak their feet.

Title: Perfect for my mom
Review: I bought this foot spa for my elderly mother and she really likes it. She uses it every Friday morning and says it is a relaxing time for her. The bubbles are vigorous and soothing and there is an attached pumice stone if needed. Of note, this does not heat the water, but the water stays warm for the several minutes that my mother uses it.

Review: I found after a few minutes of the bubble being on, there was an electrical smell, like the battery was over heating. This was kind of disappointing as I would have liked to keep the bubble on longer.Other wise the size and the depth is good, and I like that it is light to carry.
