Title: Very Good Book!
Review: I read a lot of books about finances. This book in particular addresses what many of us deal with- overspending. Itâs part a gentle warning and part encouraging us to do better. I wrote many of the passages in my journal to read again whenever Iâm discouraged or tempted to spend unwisely.

Title: Wonderful book on how to think about money
Review: First, let me point out that this book is not about how to make money or build wealth. This book deals exclusively with how better to spend your money in order to maximize the value it has for your life. If you want a book on how to get rich, look elsewhere. If you want a detailed book on setting up a budget, Zoe has one for you. If you want to know how to improve your mindset about the role of money in your life and how to avoid many pitfalls designed to needlessly separate you from said money this is the book for you. That said, let's move on.I certainly liked that the book packed so very much information into such a concise package. I was aware of several of the marketing techniques but the author introduced some that I had not previously given much, if any, thought. Another aspect that I appreciate is the fact that the actions suggested are primarily very simple and can be implemented with only a small amount of discipline and some practice. For example buying things because they are on sale can be reduced by asking yourself if you would pay X dollars for the item if that was the regular price instead of the sale price or contemplating where else that money could be more productively spent. In all, I found the book had a lot of good information with suggestions that can be really easy to implement and left me confident that I will make use of the ideas. There were a couple of typographical or grammatical errors but they weren't enough to derail my reading. The idea of the left and right sides of the brain controlling logical versus creative thinking is no longer considered accurate in mainstream psychology but the concept is so ingrained in the general public's consciousness that I don't think it detracts from the message of the book and possibly makes the example easier to understand. In all I found this to be an interesting, informative, and useful book that I would recommend to anyone who is interested in spending their money more wisely (especially given the price point).

Title: I found this book to be helpful and I really enjoyed reading it
Review: I've always been interested in my finances and my wife and I jointly manage our family's finances so we both know what's going on.I found this book to be helpful and I really enjoyed reading it! The author writes in a no-nonsense fashion and if she says something is stupid or a bad idea, she will say exactly that. She doesn't beat around the bush. She provides step-by-step information on getting yourself out of debt, have better spending habits, how to save. She talks about stuff you donât find in every personal finance book. I liked the part on financial literacy and her exercises.Unless you already have millions of dollars in the bank and have all of your finances under control (retirement, investments, kids' college education, etc.), I think you'll find the information in this book to be useful.

Title: Helped me identify unnecessary spending
Review: I read a lot about budgeting and thrifty living in the book, plus actionable tips that are easy to implement. I think the sections on identifying unnecessary expenditures and prioritizing spending were particularly helpful. I got practical advice on how to cut costs on everyday expenses without feeling like I'm sacrificing too much. The book covers the basics well, I found it could discuss more topics about finances like dating or how to save money while traveling or working overseas. I think some of the strategies are overly general and might not cater to anyone who already knows basic budgeting techniques. Additionally, I think the book missed to provide more knowledge on how to handle unexpected financial crises beyond the basics.Another drawback is the book's organization of chapters. It is difficult for me to quickly locate specific information or revisit key points for reinforcement, which detracts from its utility as a go-to guide. I think a list of keywords at the end and on which pages to find them would have made the book more usable for me.

Title: Is a book that opened my eyes to a new beginning.
Review: Although I had some knowledge of fiance and budgeting my expenses this book reminded me what is lost over time. It is easy to go "sleep" in a visual society that taught me to be valued for what I own, that without noticing I was fully immersed in the rat race. Like this book I enjoyed to read it.

Title: Great book
Review: I love your book, actually I love all of your books. You are honest, warm, you speak from your own experience and it's easy to relate to you. I love your advices and the part of how commercials and sales people influence our decisions. Some of this was eye opening. I only wish if smart spending advices were summarised into one chapter in the end with some of the techniques more developed so you have like all of it in one place? I find some of the advices get ''lost'' along the way.
