Title: Great for making a one of a kind gift
Review: Very easy to use. Upload a photograph, and it converts it into a cross-stitch pattern. It is a very complex pattern, so maybe not for beginners. But the final results are incredible. The picture doesn’t do it justice. That was a picture of a picture. The colors are vibrant.

Title: Perfect design tool
Review: I have used PC Stitch for about 11 years. I got a new laptop and purchased another one. Before this I was sketching designs and then charting on graph paper. This has streamlined the process. It is easy to use and editing is a breeze. You can change your color story so easily. Enjoy!

Title: Very Impressive
Review: I really like it. I'm still finding my way around but I was able to import JPG files that I saved on my PC and create my own pattern. I haven't printed and used any patterns yet, but this seems to be the closest I'll get to turning clipart, photos, designs, etc into cross stitch patterns. I have Windows 10 btw.People were talking about a tutorial. There's one in the folder where you installed the program as HTML files i.e. PCStitch 2011/Tutorials/Tutorials.htm From there, you can print out a hard copy if you like.I was apprehensive about the price. I still think it's a little pricey, but there's a lot to the program and it looks really extensive so I think it's worth it.UPDATE: FYI there's a review here that gives instruction how to use the program. That instruction suggests d/ling a Paint program. I did so and it filled my PC with terrible malware that took me 3 days to get rid of. I was going to post on her review but Amazon took that option away.

Title: Works on Windows 11, but has some flaws in installation
Review: Once you get it installed it works fine. You must install using a user with admin privileges. The error messages don't really explain this, they just say that some files can't be copied. Another issue is, and this is a big one these days, the software comes on a CD/DVD. Many people do not have optical drives anymore. The installation needs to be done from a website.

Title: For the tech savy
Review: As noted in an earlier review, projects will be large. However, loading images in was easy enough, and the pattern still provides DMC colors which may prove useful for creative minds. I used the program to convert an ultrasound photo into a pattern will DMC colors for a Diamond Dot art freestyle project. (DD drill colors match DMC colors). Seriously consider the amount of time you are willing to learn how to use the software, or this may be a waste of money and forget about small patterns, which would lose all detail.

Review: This cross stitch software is user friendly! Import any picture, and voila, you have a cross stitch grid and pattern. Was amazed how quickly it works. Advanced users can make adjustments, substitute colors, etc. Perfect for cross stitching family photos. I definitely recommend this product.

Title: If you want your own image uploaded into this program--then skip this program!
Review: Would have been a good product if it actually worked and showed the patterns on the screen. Went through a myriad of fixes trying to get this up and running but when you can't see your pattern due to some kind of glitch or bug in the program what can you do? It seemed like a good idea for patterns but it just did not work out. If you want to use your own patterns then I would skip this, you may have severe issues in being able to upload and see the pattern. If you will only be using their own patterns that are with the system then it should work as these are already uploaded and ready to see and work with. But most people buy these kinds of programs for the abilities to upload their own work into a workable form for cross stitch or plastic canvas, this didn't work for me so buyer beware.*and yes I had all the program pre-requisites they needed to work on a pc*
