Title: A Good Deal
Review: I like the value for the price. It would be awkward once having spent a fortune to produce a similar recording, to see what this can do on a low budget. Because, this is impressive. Keeping in mind if you want to add this software to your studio, you have to know about connecting equipment, which will cost more. Always do your research before starting complicated projects. At least know enough you don't have to rely on the word of a salesman, since they aren't always right, while some of their input is helpful they might not understand your computer and setup. Otherwise, if you're just talking into the computer and recording your voice then you're primarily only concerned with knowing your computer and settings. If you're not very good with computers, you may require additional support on large projects.

Title: Customer Service Sucks
Review: We purchased a home recording equipment and bought this software based off recommendations from Amazon users. Once the download link came, I downloaded everything without issue and thought I could just start using the equipment. It was only after a few uses that I started to get pop-ups telling me that my "free trial" was expiring, would I like to purchase the software? It took me awhile to figure out that there was an activation code that came with the download link (super small print, easy to overlook) and then when I used the code to get a "registration code" which I then needed to register the product, I was told that the code was outdated. I plugged it into the system the same day it was generated! And now, on top of that, I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to get my money back from Amazon (update - I can't!). I tried reaching out to NCH for help, but they made me get an issue ticket and, by the way, people who have paid for the software get first priority. But because they don't have my purchase on record.... Well, you get the point. Software companies make the mistake of thinking that everyone who buys their products are super computer geeks who understand how everything works. Try sending some instructions with the link? The ONLY reason the software gets any stars at all is that, when I could use it, it seemed to work fine. But what good is useable software if you can't access it?!!!

Title: Outstanding
Review: I have used this for over a month now and, to sum it up, it's outstanding. I'm an amateur with sound editing software, however, WavePad does everything I need to do extremely easily with little to no instructions. That's the beauty of it for me. I didn't have to spend a lot of time learning all the nuances and intricacies of sound editing. It was like bang and go. If you even have a dime on the ball, it's all intuitive with the tabs and buttons, and just a bit trial and error (how I learn).I cannot say enough. If you're looking for a great tool to easily edit, amplify, cut, paste, join, equalize, fade, etc. sound files, and you just want good sound without a lot of time investment, this is it.

Title: Love the WavePad Software, but Amazon and NCH need to work out the activation code issue...
Review: Love the software - I have used WavePad for years to edit snippets of audio, but taking a star off because Amazon and NCH need to work out the activation process. The activation code I received though Amazon was for a different product (Switch Sound File Converter - NOT WavePad). You use the activation code to get a registration code from NCH, but you don't know it is wrong until you get the email with the registration code back stating the wrong product name. At that point you are stuck-- that really stinks folks!!! In the end I downloaded Switch File Converter and used the registration code on that as I will probably get some use out of if, then I bought a WavePad license directly from NCH (which was $30 cheaper than through Amazon) and I had no issues with the activation and registration.My advice - skip Amazon and go directly to the NCH site (sorry Amazon, I usually love your services but feel really let down this time.)

Title: Great product just make sure to buy it directly from there site
Review: I hope they get this fix but they did good by me, and they gave me the code I was suppose to have after contacting them. it took some time and was kinda upsetting not knowing if they world come through but they did and I give them 5 star due to the software is good product and I due plan on getting more of there software in the near future. know it might be fixed by know but buy it directly from them and not through amazon or contact them first to see if the mater is fix with there key codes. if it did work out where you got stuck with wrong program contact them they will make it right.

Title: Worst customer service in history.
Review: I have no idea how this product functions because after downloading and registering it with the developer, NCH (the developer) gave me an activation code for the wrong product. Life is hard and stuff happens, so I politely emailed them, explained my problem (their problem) and requested a new code. They repeatedly told me I purchased a different item and ultimately told me to take up my issue with Amazon.I will never, ever, ever buy another product from NCH and I will take every opportunity afforded me to encourage others to spend their money on products made by companies who value their customers.

Title: Software that WORKS
Review: I am into creating AAC, FLAC and ALAC files from WAV files. I have WAV files with many tracks in them so i use the TRACK SPLITTING feature to make independent tracks and also apply TAG data to each track. The track splitter is very accurate using the (find tracks by silence). This is the best software out there for the novice or professional when it comes to making digital music also can buy the suite to do video projects POD cast,,... etc...
