What do you do when you run into the men who made your childhood hell?
Move in with them, of course!

It was a decision made from one part desperation and one part need for revenge… I moved into their house, but they quickly moved into my mind every waking minute of every freaking day. Because they’re different than I remember:

Van was always the golden boy with the cheeky smile. Now that smile has a hungry edge that is saved just for me.
Gage was always tall and silent, but he’s a wall of hard muscle now and part of me wants to find out exactly how big.
And Connor? With those dimples and that cocky attitude, he’s got trouble written all over him.

Well, it turns out the joke’s on me.
I might be the one engaging in juvenile pranks this time, but these three guys are determined to play the biggest prank of all.
To get me back—in their life, in their bed, in their hearts.

This is a contemporary reverse harem, rom com standalone romance where the girl doesn't have to choose.

Title: Cute, fun, but kind of sad too
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is a somewhat messed-up enemies to lovers RH story. The characters were just fantastic. Van, Gage and Connor are Kendall’s Oder brother’s best friends since childhood. So they have all known each other forever. As with most younger siblings, Kendall was picked on by her brother & his friends when she just wanted to be included. But as she grew up, things changed and she grew quite resentful of all of them. But they didn’t really feel the same. None of that came to light for many years however, brilliant fate brought them all together again. Btw, Kendall’s brother is a piece of work.

Title: Cute but Dragged
Review: It started off really good. The layers of the relationships building, the way she connected with each guy in their own way was really cute and the pranks were funny but not over the top. However the actual climax of the story happens pretty early on, leaving the last 1/5 of the book to really drag, with weird time jumps that didn't make sense. And the last chapter should have been an epilogue. If you want a funny, cute, and mid-level steam MMMF romance without sword crossing, this is perfect.Note this book takes place in Australia with all the lovely jargon that comes with it. So, USA readers, no, they aren't grammar mistakes, that's just how the rest of the English speaking world spells it.

Title: Everything I want in a book
Review: I loved this story. I've been enjoying this author's work for some time and their stories are always full of the perfect balance of engaging plot and delicious smut. This is the first contemporary rom/com they've written and it was wonderful! I hope they write more. I especially love that the female characters are never doormats, at least not in the focus relationship. The male characters are strong but not overbearing irredeemable, douchebags, and actually make proper amends if warranted. And all the feels/romance is there a long with interesting storylines and smut. This author never rests on miscommunication or lack of communication or teen type drama as plot devices - all things I hate. It's a real story that moves along well and is interesting on its own without injecting BS in the relationship just for drama. Instead the plots seem carefully crafted to be believable, relatable, and engaging while waiting to see how it will all unravel and wrap up in the end. Plus the ability to make RH a truly loving poly relationship that anyone can connect to.If you like shifter stories, Sam's are some of my favorites.

Title: very cute story
Review: Kendall is looking for a room to rent is on her last nerve when she finds a beautiful house. The only problem? It is with her brother’s best friends who did nothing but play tricks on her growing up. She decides to move I. Until she can find a new place and also get some prank revenge on them while she lives there. This was fun and I liked how it was pranks that came from a good place and nothing super mean or where there wasn’t redemption from it going too far. It was adorable and I loved the multiple POV. The guys were great and they were definitely all in when they laid eyes on her.

Title: A thoughtful and fun read.
Review: Such a thoughtful and well written novel! I know this is Sam Halls first foray into contemporary reverse harem romance and she, in her unique style, elevated the format of what to expect from the genre! There are a few stand outs in contemporary reverse harem romance that fully develop characters and their respective roles in the relationship, but this is another level. We have history of the characters, their own families and roles, hurt, misunderstanding and then some. As always Sam Hall digs into the emotional and mental health of her characters and what they need to heal. I honestly didn’t think one character (not a love interest) could be redeemed, but he made moves to be a better person. Also the moms end up being the absolute best strong woman supporting strong women

Title: Loved it! Couldn't put it down!
Review: When I stumble upon books with titles like this, I usually pass them up, expecting predictability. However, Messing With My Brother’s Best Friends surprised me—it’s unmistakably a Sam Hall creation! The story kicks off with Barbie and her friend Kendall (not Ken-doll) searching for a place for Kendall. After a series of disastrous viewings, they finally find the perfect place online. But when Kendall arrives at the door, she’s face-to-face with her childhood tormentors: her brother’s best friends.Barbie convinces Kendall to move in, fueled by a desire for revenge. As the plot unfolds, we witness the dynamics between these characters. Barbie is the loyal friend who stands by Kendall through thick and thin, celebrating her victories and supporting her during tough times. Meanwhile, the guys—Van, Gage, and Connor—reveal surprising changes. Van, once the golden boy with a cheeky smile, now wears a hungry edge reserved just for Kendall. Gage, previously tall and silent, has transformed into a wall of hard muscle, leaving Kendall curious about just how big he is. And Connor, with his dimples and cocky attitude, spells trouble. As Kendall navigates pranks, feelings, and a complex history, the story evolves from a spark to a raging inferno. While the premise might seem predictable, Sam Hall infuses it with steamy scenes, an unpredictable storyline, and engaging dialogue. This contemporary reverse harem romance proves that sometimes revenge can lead to unexpected connections—in life, in bed, and in the heart. Read it now!

Review: Sweet enemies to lovers to story. I'm glad the boys were able to grow up and stop being jerks. Although Kendall gave as good as she got, like every bada$$ woman should

Review: I really do love Sam Hall‘s book, how the character comes out, the multiple PoV etc. BUT: I think Ken‘s character got lost around the middle of the book. I couldn’t understand how she got feelings for them. She didn’t really see how they changed, how they really tried to win her over. It was like „well, I had a bit of revenge and now we are together“.

Review: I didn't know I needed a funny local rom com in my life till I began this book, and now I need more. It was like reading an amusing, skillfully told story written by an old friend, and it was a rare treat For international readers: aside from a great romance, this book is also shockingly accurate in the way it handles dialogue, slang, places and other cultural references.I think Alan deserves a shout out as a stand out side character, as does Barbie. Great main characters and very character driven and non-cliche handling of situations and any drama..

Review: Sam really does this genre well. Really liked the way she separates each personality. Though I do think Kens got a bit lost in the end.
