Title: Love the tool-less install and the overall design
Review: Got a new M2 2230 SSD (2TB) for my SteamDeck and put the old one (512GB) into this.Installation into this was a breeze. Insert the M2 SSD, rotate the rubber retainer for the screw holder and put the entire thing into the rubber enclosure. Took longer to figure out how to remove the old steam deck partitions off the SSD than it took to install the SSD into this enclosure. Active cooling is nice to keep the SSD from overheating.Only wish - want more color options. Only yellow was available at the time of purchase.

Title: Cute and compact, fan is a bit too noisy
Review: So, I got this thing because I pulled out a little 2230 sized NVME drive from a micro optiplex but couldn’t find a system to put it in without using tape to hold it. Thought “screw it, I could use some portable storage.”It’s easy to setup, incredibly compact, and comes with a lil cable, that also seems to function as a keyring (although I wouldn’t completely trust it), if you need extra length. I can’t quite confirm if the max of 10gbps speed is correct as I can’t recall if my drive is even up to those speeds, but I was able to get about 9-8.5gbps (1000mb/s) in crystaldiskmark, so I wouldn’t doubt it. It also comes with a little protective carrying case which is what I assume to be water proof too. You can’t really have it closed around it however, as there are no air holes for the fan through the case. It is however made to have the clear plastic open and keep airflow, so you don’t really have to take it out of the shell every time you want to use it. A neat little thing that I noticed is that it even has write protection, thought it was a lock for the drive so it doesn’t move which confused me for a bit lol.With that being said, there are some gripes I have with this. For one, and a really big one, the fan is incredibly annoying. Maybe not incredibly noisy, you could probably block it out with earphones or it’ll mix with the fans running on something like a gaming handheld, but it’s very noticeable nonetheless, like noticeable even across the room with people talking. Luckily, it does turn off if temps are down, which is another smaller issue I have, but there also isn’t an adjuster for the fan speeds or even just a simple off button. Second, for a fan cooled portable NVME drive, it doesn’t run it very cool. Now, I’m not saying it leaves the drives at dangerous or throttling temps, but under a crystaldiskmark run, I saw it reach up to 71c without the case, with the fan exposed, and only a PCIe 3.0 drive ie. best case scenario. Those aren’t terrible temps, plus the benchmark is the worst case scenario, but if you’re moving lots of files I could see it easily reaching those temps if not hotter. My question is, why not put more thermal mass? Yeah, it looks awesome but the fan is annoying and doesn’t seem to do much.Overall, it’s a nice compact storage holder and would be perfect for those people who upgraded their storage on a steamdeck, Ally, legion go, etc and had that little drive but nowhere to put it, or just people who need a little compact storage holder. The fan is definitely annoying.

Title: Good, albeit small and limiting, enclosure
Review: This is a review for Disk M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure with Active Cooling System, 10Gbps USB C 3.2 Gen2, Enclosure NVMe Reader Supports M Keys and Size 2230 SSDs, Yellow.I love this little enclosure and it’s takes up so little space it can fit anywhere. But that in and of itself is the only problem I have with it. You are only able to fit the shortest of the SSDs. I am sure that is the point though. I knew the size before I ordered it.I had to return the first one I had because the glass viewing window broke very easily. Knowing that now, I am very cautious when I put my fingers near it or where I place it.It is designed well, and I love the color. It is easy to insert the SSD and it easily is identified in all the windows systems I have at my disposal.

Title: The cable doesn't work
Review: When I received the Sharge Disk I was very happy but on the third day of trying to initialize the disk I tried to do it without the cable it comes with and then I realized that the cable is bad apparently it is not passing enough current because it says USB not recognizable. I tried several times with several computers and nothing if I put it directly without the cable it works but I can't put it in its case because for put it on, you need the cable

Review: I have a bunch of 2230 nvme drives lying about so I decided to buy this case and it's pretty awesome. It comes in a little rubber case with a see through door. My advice is the take it out of the case when file transferring so it doesnt over heat. It has its own little fan to keep it cool which is a nice touch. Very satisfied.

Review: J’ai acheté ce boîtier pour y mettre le disque de mon Steam Deck que j’ai changé pour un plus gros. Le boîtier est hyper compact, bien protégé avec sa protection silicone. Il est facile à transporter avec son système de clips pour le câble. Le ventilateur est silencieux. Il y a un bouton pour verrouiller le contenu. C’est un super boîtier je le recommande.
