Title: Making a web developer out of a general manager
Review: I am General Manager of a start-up Consulting business that needed a website. I decided to "do it myself" since I have a good grasp of what the site needs to achieve. I bought several books on the subject of using WordPress because my hosting company provided it as part of the hosting package. I had never developed website before and needed a starting point. I randomly chose this book to start with and that turned out to be a good choice. I found the book easy to read (for a non technical person) and informative. I had it open in Kindle as I started to develop my site (two days ago) and referred to it when I got stuck or wanted to know more. In two days, part time I've made much more progress than I expected and am now ready to move on to some more sophisticated customization. I had no real expectations being new to the topic but the book much more than justified my purchase.

Review: I consider 3 stars to be as a good product. Is not great, is not excellent. But is good, it's useful if you want to understand and broad your knowledge a bit about how wordpress works. It's a free book. So if you need this information this is a good place to find some of it.

Title: A great book for beginners
Review: I am computer-literate, but on a fairly low level yet found this book extremely useful in walking me through the steps to set up a blog/website. I have one other book which I thought would be this useful but would have given up in frustration trying to set my site up using it alone. The instructions given by M r. Patrick are clear, understandable and accurate in describing the various pages and parts of the WordPress software. I now, with his help, have created the beginnings of a professional looking website. I would highly recommend this book, especially to people like me with only average computer skills.

Title: A very informative 1st book on WordPress
Review: How to Create a Website Using WordPress: The Beginner's Blueprint to Creating a Website or Blog in Less Than 60 Minutes by Brian Patrick is a book chocked full of valuable information for the person wanting to learn WordPress. WordPress is the industry's go to program for building websites and blogs because it requires no knowledge of coding or programming to use. This book provides the reader with everything he or she needs to know to build their first website or blog and have it up and running very quickly. Brian Patrick makes good on all he promises except for the promise of providing his readers instant, free access to over 40 professionally recorded video tutorial. You will not be able to access those videos because all the embedded links that point back to the author's website, which is where you have to go to access the video tutorials do not work. I checked them again and again over a period of a couple of days to make sure it wasn't a temporary issue but the problem persisted. I tried running a search for his site and came up empty. That would be a big disappointment for anyone who downloaded this book who was a visual learner. Still this book is worth the read for it step by step instruction and for the links (which do work) to WordPress resources. Check it out on Amazon.

Review: I didn't expect too much from a free book. But, I was pleasantly surprised at how much information the book contained. I hadn't gotten all turned around and confused. And, this book got me back together again. I learned how WordPress worked and how much work it was saving me. WordPress does all the behind the scenes work for me. I am also excited about watching the 40 free step by step videos. No one who wants to start a website can go wrong by reading this book. It is very empowering to know you can do it. Thanks to Amazon.com and my Kindle I found and read a great book.

Title: been lied to
Review: Super disappointed. Feel like you lied to me. You keep going on and on about these videos that we get. You keep telling us about these 3 steps and we will get our cheat sheet and video to help learn. Lies lies. All they are is advertisements for graphics design, web page set ups, logo design. Seriously it’s like your an affiliate and you receive a commission if we use there service to build our website. Shame on you if that’s the truth because you didn’t post anything stating that you are an affiliate. It’s funny even in your title it says “Plus 40+ premium WordPress video tutorials” don’t fall for it folks. There’s no such thing. Maybe you would like to fix this.
