Avoid using hubs or shared ports, as they may affect the quality of your captures.Keeping Up with Compatibility and Updates: Check for firmware updates regularly and ensure compatibility with your gaming console, especially Nintendo Switch models, to avoid any potential issues.Handling Fast Motion and Frame Drops: If you notice pixel misalignment during fast motion in games, consider reducing the intensity of motion or scrolling. It's important to have optimized capture settings.Dealing with Input Lag: Input lag can be influenced by various factors like computer performance, HDMI cable quality, and capture software settings. Make sure your computer can handle real-time video capture and always use high-quality HDMI cables.Adjusting Software Settings: Configure your capture software settings according to your gameplay needs to avoid synchronization issues.Considering Game or Console Requirements: Different games or consoles may have specific demands on your capture card. Test your device with various games and consoles to identify any persistent issues.Resolving Still Frame Issues: If you're experiencing still frames only, it might be due to compatibility or driver issues. Using an HDMI switching device like the Gana 8k or 4k/HDMI Switch can help resolve this problem.Addressing Stereo Audio Problems: Check HDMI Audio Settings to ensure stereo output if you encounter single-channel audio during recording or streaming. Title: Unnoticeable Latency
Review: This item worked great for video and capture from my android phone. I didn't have any issues with Latency, audio clipping, or tracking. My only complaint is that the male usb port has a lot of play in female ports and feels like it will fall out (as though the tolerance isn't as tight as it should be). And yes, these ports I plug it into have no problems with other usb devices experiencing play.

Title: USB 2.0 is all you need
Review: PROS:- Compact & pocketable- Supports connection to up to 4K 60fps outputCONS:- May need USB extension where adjacent ports are in use- Needs an adapter for USB-C portsIn testing, I found this was able to capture content from a subscription streaming service on a computer (my M1 Mac Mini). I thought that meant it handled HDCP, but after connecting it to my Roku 3, it gave an HDCP error as soon as I began to play any video. That calls into question the "Connect the capture card to a Firestick to watch content on your computer, ideal for travel!" claim currently made in the product listing. I tried an older Fire Stick I have, but it never displayed beyond the "Fire TV" logo.Video via QuickTime was smooth, but for some reason was only 1280 x 720 with mono audio. VLC was 1920 x 1080 with stereo audio, but motion was not smooth. OBS gave the best results, with the proper resolution, audio, and smooth motion. If you have poor results, try different software before blaming the hardware. While USB 3.0 would be nice, it really isn't required. Keep in mind the video presented via USB will be compressed, and the 480Mbps nominal data rate of USB 2.0 is over 4 times the data rate streaming from a UHD Blu-ray disc.Connecting to my Windows PC as the input source confirmed that a 4K 60fps video input is accepted (see images). I note the manual states 4K 30fps as the maximum, while the product listing shows 30 fps in at least 3 different images, while stating 60fps in the text. With the appropriate app, this can be used on phones and tablets, but an appropriate USB adapter would be needed. At the current price (under $10) it is difficult to go wrong with this device.

Title: I simply could not get this to work.
Review: What else can I say? Useless instructions. The manufacturers should not expect that every customer is an expert.Bob does not recommend.

Title: Not 4k
Review: It does OK at capturing 1080p video. I gave it three stars since the title, headline, and metadata say it has 4K video capture. (Yes, I know the fine print says the output is limited to 1080p, but that's splitting hairs on what is honesty in their posting). If you want a 1080pcaptue device, this is OK (I'd give it 4-5 stars if that was what they called it). If you want a 4K capture device, this is a pathetic misbranding to waste your time and money (3 stars was generous based on their product name).

Title: Feels like quality and does the job well!
Review: I needed this for a headless that wasn't responding to my remote software.I tested this at the office first though, where I found it worked perfectly.I was able to take the laptop's output signal, and view it with the camera app on my own PC (connected via the hub in the picture)The device itself is small, compact, and made out of metal, so it has a real premium feel to it.Being so small means it's easy to store in my IT backpack so I'll always have it handy. It's also plug & play. It works right away and you can use any input software to view it.Great device!
