Title: Mini fridge for classroom
Review: This product works well, I am able to fit six small water bottles in it. It does put out hot air at the back, so be careful of what you put next to it.

Title: So cute
Review: I've only had for about 2 months so I can't attest to longevity. I saw where some people said it stopped working within a year which wouldn't entirely surprise me given that it's under $40. But I can say it is SO cute and keeps things very cold. Got one for me and for my daughter. I keep waters and eye cream and some other creams/eye mask in it.Some people said it's really loud. Not sure what these people consider to be loud. There are times if it's particularly quiet in my room I hear it, but by no means would I say it's loud. It's like a low hum and not even remotely bothersome.

Title: Decent for keeping drinks cool, not very energy efficient; bad caps on power supply
Review: Got this to keep at work to keep a few cans of soda cool. I'm in a shared multi-tenant office building, so keeping sodas in the shared fridge is essentially giving away free drinks to anyone who wants it. Since my office is two desks behind a locked door (and no one but me really goes there), it was a no-brainer to get something like this mini fridge.Upside is it's cute. It is able to hold about 8 standard sized cans of soda. Less common sizes (red bull, monster, slim/tall cans) will affect how many can go in.Downside is it's a little noisy, though that may just be the regular sized 80mm computer fan they used. It's certainly not quiet like a Noctua branded fan would be).I purchased my Frigidaire mini fridge July 2023 and by June 2024 the power supply died. Upon inspection, two capacitors had swelled up, breaking the top seal, and the fridge stopped working. While I have the soldering skills and knowledge on how to fix this (It's a 46-cent fix to replace 2 capacitors on the power supply), not everyone will be able to or be comfortable performing such a fix.The bigger issue is this is a warning sign when all of a specific type of capacitor fail simultaneously. This may mean it's highly likely other Frigidaire mini fridges like this one also use the same parts from the same production run. This may mean a fair number of these mini fridges could suddenly stop working. Also, they used cheap no-name brand caps on the PSU so there's not an easy way to identify the cap manufacturer. This could be due to bad caps, or the wrong caps for this application, I won't be able to tell until after I repair it.This shouldn't have failed like it did, but cheap and poorly chosen parts ultimately led to an early demise. For comparison's sake, I own a Sega Genesis from 1992 with its original capacitors and with significantly more power-on time and those caps haven't failed or leaked yet. Rest assured Sega was not aiming for 32-year longevity, but certainly they strove for enough time to make it through the years it was actively developed for.

Title: Worked well for me
Review: I bought the pink one after seeing the red one on a co-workerâs desk. Loved it. Lasted me for 2 years almost to the day I bought it. If you are looking for something to keep/get your drinks ICE COLD, this is not it. However, it DOES work as it was advertisedâ¦ITâS A COOLER, peopleâ¦NOT A FULL BLOWN REFRIGERATOR. Kept my drinks and lunch cold enough for the day and that was perfectly fine with me. I would have loved it if it was a real fridge at this size, but alas, no.My husband took a look at it when I brought it home after it stopped working. Using his extensive expertise he had to break the news to me that it was toast. âDo you want me to toss it?â he asked. âHeck NO!â I said. âI want to use it for storage in my studio now!âThis little fridge was super fun, so I may or may not get another oneâ¦not quite sure yet. Give it a try, itâs a fun accessory for your desk. Later, you can use it to hold all you little desk do-dads.

Title: Great mini fridge for smaller rooms that aren't conventional fridge ready!
Review: So first off, I bought a Chefman 6 can mini fridge about 2 months back. I currently live in the guest house on a larger property and I have access to a conventional fridge/freezer that is in the garage, but I don't want to have to run out to the garage everytime I want a cold drink especially when it's super hot or pouring rain. I've had zero issues with my little 6 can Chefman, but my boyfriend had expressed interest in getting another mini fridge for his man-cave/art room that is located in a converted RV on the property. So with his birthday coming up in a few days I had been doing some research on getting him a little 6 can fridge as I previously had, and if the fridge I bought wasn't on back order with a delivery date a month past his birthday, I would have got him what I ordered. I'm so happy that I didn't though!I decided to go with the black Frigidaire as I'm familiar with the brand, and the cost was within the amount I wanted to spend ($40 max budget - it cost $36.67 + tax and I did buy the warranty). However I was beyond pleasantly surprised when the package arrived as I seemed to overlook the fact that I was buying a 9 can fridge, not a 6 can model. This posed a small problem for me as his converted art space is rather small so everything I buy I have to measure out to ensure that the item fits in the space. The simple solution was to repack my 6 can fridge, and set up the larger Frigidaire model in my room. Obviously the swap isn't completely altruistic but I know he'll be happy with my 6 can fridge as he expressed wanting the same model, now he'll be getting the exact same model ð
As for the technical stuff, the Chefman does have a hot or cold switch however I wouldn't ever use it for heating so I don't mind that my fridge only gets cold ð Aside from that, both units are nice and quiet, but the Chefman produced way more heat out of its vents so the Frigidaire wins in that category, and the most important aspect is of course how cold the unit gets! Both do a good job of keeping drinks cold but the Frigidaire seems to keep the drinks slightly colder so I'd say the Frigidaire is a superior product. Unless something drastically changes, my rating is absolutely 5/5!I attached a few pictures to show the size, it sits on top of my little pantry that I keep chips and other non perishable foods in. I will also be cleaning it out after realizing the visible mess in the photos. The fridge really is perfect size for my needs. (There is a little 2 inch piece of cardboard wedged underneath the front of the fridge as the door has trouble closing without it - this isn't a design flaw, it's due to the surface I'm keeping it on)
