Spade. People know what to expect when they hear my last name.

Billionaire. Alphahole. The forever bachelor. Heir to Spade Hotels, one of the most luxurious brands in the world.

Want to know what they would never call me?

Boyfriend.

Until her.

With one glance at her in the club, I’m ready to claim her for the night.

Dark, flowing hair. A smile that causes my heart to pound. Eyes that pierce my soul. And a perfect body that makes every part of me pulse.

She’s addictive. Electrifying. Consuming.

I’ve never wanted anyone more.

Our eyes meet, but she looks right past me. She isn’t here for me. She’s here for the music.

For the first time in my life, a woman makes me work for it. Her indifference fuels the fire inside me.

The result? One night. No names. No introductions.

Just pleasure. The way I’ve always liked it.

But now, I find myself fantasizing about this gorgeous stranger, and I swear I can still feel the softness of her skin and taste her on my lips.

The minute I saw her, a switch flipped inside me. Now, how do I stop this raging…obsession?

When our paths cross again in the most unexpected way, I’m on a mission to make her mine. But what happens when she wants nothing to do with me?

Title: Easy Fun Read
Review: Dual point of view. Easy fun read. Good dialogue. Good story line. Playboy sees MFC falls for her and pursues her. He is a hotel executive she is in her last 3 months of college. She works a low level position in a job in the same industry he is an executive in and his family owns the company he works at. Very low angst. lots of sexy scenes.

Title: swoon worthy, delicious
Review: Macon is the quintessential bachelor - rich, commitment-phobic, and commands women all around the world with his charm and alpha attitude. He's not used to women leaving after they've been with him, but that's exactly what happens one night when he meets a singular woman who has other things on her mind besides a playboy who can't seem to understand there are more important things in her life than being with him again. If it's the last thing he does, Macon will claim Brooklyn and show her she's the one. These two really seem like they wouldn't be a good couple on paper, but in the same room, their chemistry is undeniable, and it's easy to see that grumpy/sunshine, playboy reformed, and strong, sassy FMC absolutely work for them. I love how hard and fast Macon falls. It's always fun when a player meets the one and gets taken to his knees without having a clue what's happening. Brooklyn and he both have their flaws, not being transparent and honest is their biggest one, but they go about fixing this in their relationship in a fairly mature way. Not too dramatic and over the top, but with the right touch of I'm sorry. This is a swoon worthy, delicious new start to what I hope is a long series, with great cameos by the Dalton brothers.

Title: Macon & Brooklyn were UNPUTDOWNABLE
Review: "I’d never thought I’d be the man who fell first. I’d never thought I’d be the guy waiting for the woman to express her feelings after I’d already voiced mine. But here I was. I had no shame or regret."Marni has definitely started this series off with a bang!!!"When a woman has the power to make your grumpy a** smile—and I’m talking really smile, where it starts in your stomach and goes up your chest and you feel it deep in your bones—you’ll know she’s the one.”Macon has sworn off all things relationship wise and set his path as the "Playboy." But we know that never lasts for long because when the right woman turns his head, he'll be done for, and that's exactly what happened! Brooklyn's life was muddy, no time for men with her full load of school and work, but Macon wanted to change that. From the first moment he laid eyes on her, he was done for and boy what an awakening it was!!"There are women who will come into your line of vision, and the moment you see them, they’ll blow your f'ing mind. You’ll do anything to be near them. Talk to them. Hear their voice. Smell their skin. Those are the women who will completely change your life.”I loved watching these two grow together and maneuver through their relationship. The banter, dirty talk, and sexy times were just what I've come to expect from one of Marni's books, and she never disappoints! This was 100% an amazing read and a great start to this new series.

Title: Macon and Brooklyn
Review: 3.75 stars. 4 peppers. Macon is s3xy. A playboy. Right up until he sees Brooklyn dancing at a bar and then he’s hooked. It’s lust at first sight and it quickly moves toward an obsession with this mysterious woman. Brooklyn works as a housekeeper in a hotel while putting herself through college. She’s beautiful and busy. Macon is an outlet until she realizes he’s more. I liked this book. The spice is spicy (4 peppers) with a full peach scene but the storyline didn’t grab me and while I liked the characters I was just sort of meh about them. It’s a good easy read with plenty of spice, swoony moments, care, etc but it wasn’t a favorite. I loved the daltons so I’m definitely going to read the next book bc Marni is one of my faves

Title: Secrets, sass and seduction...
Review: A smooth talking womanizer, proudly claiming his playboy status while going through life reveling in his love‘em and leave ‘em lifestyle. Then he sees a woman sensually dancing across a crowded room and he’s never the same. His heart awakens and he’s set ablaze… and he’s determined to win her.Brooklyn is a drop dead gorgeous, college co-ed who’s not interested. For the first time in his life, Macon Spade is stumped. This has never happened before! Every woman he meets drops at his feet. He usually has to fight them off! This was a very cute story that goes down easy. If you can forgive and get through the ridiculously concocted and manufactured drama, you’ll enjoy this lighthearted story.

Title: Macon and Brooklyn
Review: This book was an easy read. The writing was okay. I don't agree with the lying on the resume to cover up where you work. The main characters just had to learn to trust each other. There are a lot of spicy scenes.

Title: The Playboy (Spade Hotel Series Book 1)
Review: Macon didn't do relationships. He was a billionaire, A alpha hole, A known bachelor, and no desire to be any thing else. Brooklyn was a college student in her fourth year almost read to graduate. A beautiful women, who lived with her sister's. She grew up as a Army brat, they all lived on the islands of Hawaii. Brooklyn was interested in getting involved with any guy. She worked full-time, went to college and looked forward to having a new life. For having fun she would go out to a club and dance without being with anyone. Macon, wasn't really looking for anyone the night that he saw her, he was celebrating with his family, A bachelor party. Across the way he saw her and couldn't get enough of her, he definitely decided he need to meet this women. Afterwards that night changed everything. He was on the island, building a new hotel.... Things became complicated.... Wanting more of Brooklyn! As you can see this story was absolutely delicious in everyway. Enjoy !!!!

Review: After falling in love with the Dalton family I knew reading about the Spade family next was a must. I am mad at myself for it taking so long for me to start reading The Playboy. Absolutely fell in love Macon - although I struggled with his unique name. I don't always love the fall hard and fast type of novels, I felt this one was well written, kept me interested and surprised me a few times! I think what kept me reading was that Brooklyn didn't need or want Macon, she was along for the ride and didn't lose herself in him too early. I really loved getting to know her character. I am excited to dive into The Rebel to meet Cooper (thankfully a name I can get behind a bit more) and also for The Sinner when it is released next month.

Review: When Macon Spade was hurt by his first love he vowed never to let another woman in to his shattered heart again . Instead he became a total playboy his charm and good looks and to some extent his money had women flocking to be with him . That was until he saw a dark haired beauty dancing on a stage, totally captivated by her he made it his mission to have her . Macon realises that his Tiny Dancer is not like other girls and he’s going to have to work to have her , Brooklyn is not immune to his charms though and soon agrees to one night of passion with Macon. In reality Brooklyn is not immune to his charm , but she also realises that he’s a player and with what’s going on in her her life at present she certainly doesn’t need someone like Macon . Brooklyn’s goal is to finish her studies , and graduate in a few months time keeping up with her school work, as she not from a wealthy family she has to work to finance it all. Her only way to relax is to dance at the club . Although Brooklyn leaves soon after their hookup but attraction to one another is so great that Macon realises very quickly that he needs more time with Brooklyn. The only problem is that they never exchanged any personal details not even names during their extremely hot passionate encounter. Macon sets about to find his Tiny Dancer as he realises that he wants more than just one night of fun.
