Holds door open on front load washers to promote better drying. Prevents moisture related buildup of black smelly gunk on the rubber door seal. Universal design fits most washers and does not require a application of a magnetic disk on the door.

Title: Best Little Gadget I've Purchased in a Long Time!
Review: So easy to use. Love that swan is a bit flexible so if you accidentally bump washer door with it in place, it gives a bit. Holds door open just the right amount. Even my husband was super impressed with it as our washer door always stays too far open when leaving it opened and you have to work/walk around the door or close it completely to pass by. Solved that problem!

Title: Perfect Solution
Review: I was using a bungie cord to hold the washer door slightly ajar, which was annoying. This little invention takes away one of laundry day’s little annoyances for me.

Title: Works Perfectly!
Review: I loved my original Prop and Stop, but was having issues keeping the magnet adhered to my washer door. The seller offered several suggestions to solve my problem, one of which was purchasing the Prop and Stop Swan. The Swan is easy to use and does exactly what it's supposed to do without any adhesion issues. If I'd seen this version when I was shopping a year ago, it would have been my first choice. I also really appreciated the seller's excellent customer service when responding to my inquiry.

Title: Good but could be better
Review: I had a larger magnet with a flexible arm, but when I got a new washer the magnet was too large to fit inside the door. This magnet fits well in the smaller space on my new washer, however there is no stabilizing or bendable material in the swan's "neck" so it's just laying on the open door not really holding it very securely. So far the door hasn't fallen open or anything so I think it will work. I just wish it was a little more stable.

Title: Genius contraption!
Review: Bought this to keep my washer’s door seal from getting mildew and to prevent the glass door from slamming into my countertop and shattering when leaving open on its own. This is made of soft silicone and works perfectly on my LG washer. It has a strong magnet and holds its shape unlike similar ones that you can stretch and bend. Attach magnet to the washer and then let the hook shape slide over the top or side of your glass door. It holds the door in place, propping the door open enough to let the tub and seal area dry without having to keep the door wide open and in the way. My minimalist engineer husband also agreed it was a good purchase and he usually is not one to find value in random gadgets like these. We’re even considering purchasing a second one to use as a dishwasher prop (even though it is not marketed to use that way) because the ones I’ve found sold for dishwashers on Amazon are made of hard plastic and reviews mention they break easily.

Title: Failed to keep door proped in place
Review: I really wanted to like this product but it just didn't work for my washer. The biggest failure was the swan neck not holding stiff enough to keep the door from eventually slipping open. My washer door is about 2.5" thick and the swan head barely stretched around it. As a result as soon as i walked away the door would swing open. I tried to move it around to different locations around the door and it kind of kept the door in place, but when i would return to the laundry room an hour or so later the door was always wide open and not held in place. If the neck of the swan were more rigid or adjustable it would have worked great.

Title: Love it!
Review: I purchased this product in anticipation of receiving our new front-load washer and dryer set. I was glad I could get a gray one to match the gray color of my new washer, so it blended in better.I bought this to start off ownership of my first front-load washer the "right" way. I had avoided getting a front load washer before because of the mildew problem I kept hearing about. Then I found out that keeping the washer door propped open for drying the mchine out when not in use should eliminate most of the problem.I like the simultaneous "push-pull" functionality to keep the door in place from both sides at once. The swan design is classy and understated. It doesn't require any special added magnetic stick-ons or weird shaping to make it work for both propping open and keeping it pulled closed as well. Bravo! 👏

Customers say

Customers find the doorstop easy to use. However, some customers have reported that the swan neck is not very sturdy and doesn't hold stiff enough to keep the door from opening. Opinions differ on the door grip.
