A word from Connie:
"I too am inspired to make a dessert by a photo, so I have included a photo for every recipe in this book. I refuse to compromise the quality of this cookbook, despite the added cost that comes with including these photos. I am confident that your investment will justify the expense as you bake these brownies and blondies again and again."

Reviews
"Connie Weis has done it again! The only thing more creative, sweet, and delicious than her brownies is Connie herself. A pinch of sugar, a spoonful of cocoa, and a heaping cup of love goes into each and every recipe. Do yourself a favor: buy this book and bake your heart out!"
-Chef Graham Elliot, Michelin Star Restaurateur, Three-Time James Beard Award Nominee, Top Chef and MasterChef Judge

"At a family gathering, my Uncle Billy told me that I wasn’t old enough to appreciate olives. You had to be an adult to understand their complexity of flavors, he said. From the first bite of one of Connie’s brownies, you realize that you are having an adult experience. The intense flavors blend together; skyrocketing you into brownie nirvana. Connie’s mastery of ingredients and textures is pure delight. 50 More Extreme Brownies will be an essential addition to your cookbook collection."
-C. Meredith Nicolls, Jr., Epicurean

"Through this second volume, readers will learn that Connie's extreme passion for her craft is no flirtation with the latest trends of the baking world. Instead, her devotion to the best ingredients, traditional methods and, most importantly, amazing flavor assure that these recipes will remain timeless.”
-Jon Pruden, owner The TASTE Family of Businesses

Nutella-Stuffed Brownies

My Caramel-Stuffed Sea Salt Brownies were such a hit I soon started thinking about what other goodies I could stuff in a brownie. I have yet to meet a person who doesn’t like Nutella, so it was an obvious choice. If you don’t want to make the chocolate hazelnut bark, substitute two (any size) chocolate hazelnut candy bars.

Whole Lotta Colada Blondies

Remember that old song that asked the question “if you like pina coladas?” Well, I don’t like pina coladas, but I sure do like all of the ingredients that go into one, so I incorporated them into a white chocolate blondie. This a virgin version: no rum.

Radical Reese's Pieces Brownies

I had experimented with placing chocolate M&M’s in brownies before, but they just seemed to get lost without contributing much to the finished product. To my delight, I found that peanut butter flavored Reese’s Pieces brought a lot to the “brownie party” and thus were a great addition. This brownie is like eating a terrific candy bar, only better. Listen to me: make this brownie!

Decadent Dark Chocolate Macadamia Nut Brownies

Many years ago on a flight we were given a little triangular package of Mauna Loa macadamia nuts. The package had about five nuts inside, and of course I would have liked about five more packages. It truly was a great marketing tool, because on my next shopping trip I bought a jar of Mauna Loa macadamia nuts, which I ate in two sittings. Because of my love of dark chocolate and macadamia nuts, this is one of my favorite brownies that I make quite often for guests.

Title: Excellent!
Review: What a gift this book is! When I take Connie’s brownies anywhere, I am all of a sudden the best cook. People continue to talk about the brownies I bring. These brownies really are amazing. It is a labor of love to make them though. There is nothing difficult about the recipes. She explains them I a way that any at home cook can make them. They do however have many steps and require quite a bit of time. If you want to be considered a brownie goddess, you want this cookbook! I have her first one as well. Will be buying her third soon! Thank you Connie!!

Title: Over the top amazing brownies
Review: What incredible brownie recipes!! I recently made the Nutella stuffed brownies for our pot luck at work. My co-workers couldn't stop raving about them. The best quote was "these are the best brownies I've eaten in my entire life" from a 50+ born and raised New Yorker. That's high praise!!!The recipes have excellent flavor combinations. They are also well balanced to not be overly sugary sweet brownies. Don't get me wrong. The brownies are rich and wonderfully flavorful. If you love brownies, this is a must buy!!!

Review: The Today Show Peanut Butter Cup Brownie truly is the best brownie I have ever had and I’m not young lol. The different chocolate layers and the perfect peanut butter highlights made me keep eating little slices over and over (and over). Can’t wait to try the others now.
