Title: Get it for any geography lover!
Review: My 8 year old son loves learning about the world and geography. I got this game for him and he LOVES IT. We came up with our own way of playing as well. It’s a lot of fun and even in learning at 42 years old! The seller was great. Got the game quickly. Very good purchase.

Title: Keeps the kids busy
Review: I just bought this game for my kids. They love it so much, they keep on playing it all day.I love this game for so many reasons. It's fun, entertaining, and is super educational. What I love about the educational aspect is you don't have to know all about the world to be able to successfully play the game, it’s not a trivia game, you just play and have fun, while playing you learn about the world.

Title: This game has potential, but it was missed
Review: When I saw this game, it looked interesting. I've been getting bored with the same old word play or quiz games, and this seemed like a nice change. Additionally, it looked like it could have some educational potential. The instructions are just plain confusing. There is a lot of description but it's hard to understand what all of the rules are. There are some areas of the instructions that are just ambiguous. They could also benefit from an "example game play".Essentially, the game is a matching game, where you play cards from your hand onto other players' piles of cards. You can match your cards based on continent, ocean, and other criteria if you have "wild cards".This is a refreshing game in that it doesn't rely on trivia knowledge, or even geography knowledge. Everything you need to know is printed on the cards. Unfortunately, the card design is poor, especially for those with poor vision. The cards are pale colors such as pale green, pale orange, pale yellow, and pale pink, and the writing is in white. Additionally, you need to be able to read the cards when they are face up in front of other players across the table. With this game, you get a huge stack of cards. You cannot shuffle them all at once so you have to shuffle them in groups and then mix the groups together. Additionally, the game play goes until the entire stack of cards is used up. This can make for a longer game than many players will probably have patience for.The information on the cards is interesting, and could be educational for a child. My family is talking about using the cards and making up our own game -- something like a "go fish" game where you ask other players if they have cards to match one you have in your hand would be more fun than what the instructions describe.PROS: * Educational game about world geography * Don't need to have trivia knowledge to play * Something different than the all-to-common party gameCONS: * Instructions are too complicated and not clear, no example game play * Huge stack of cards is unwieldly * Cards are difficult to read * Not a good game for visually impaired players * Game play, as designed, can be quite long

Title: Ginormous deck, long game, and some gaps in the rules that make it a challenge.
Review: We played this game with our adult children, three of whom are teachers. While on the cover it seems like a good educational game, it really didn't measure up for us. First, the directions have some weird mistakes and typos, so it hasn't been carefully prepared. Second, the stack of cards is humongous. If you're looking for an all-day game, go ahead. But it seemed too ambitious to try to cover the whole world in the cards. It's difficult to shuffle, but to end the game, we had to just reduce the stack down to 1/3 of the deck. One of the challenges with playing with a group is that you can't easily see their cards. So the process of choosing where to lay down for a turn is difficult. Following the instructions for when to draw a card slowed the game down even more, so we improvised. It says it's for 2-6 players. I'm not sure how you'd play with 2. You can only lay on an opponent stack, so with two people, that sure limits the options. A very slow game!Overall, it has an educational intent, but it didn't keep us interested enough to pull it out again to play.
