Title: Total package!
Review: This is a very nice higher end unit compared to some others available on Amazon! Looks, feels, fits and operates perfect so far! Straight forward install with some electrical knowledge! Unit came right on and started heating instantly! Connected to WiFi and app download was seemless! Thermostat calibration was definitely needed because from factory it was reading about 10deg different from ambient room temp now itâs much closer like 2-3deg different! Keep in mind itâs ceiling mounted!! Heat rises! I would def recommended for a supplemental heat source! My garage is an insulated 20x20 (400sf) 8ft ceiling space with r15 insulated doors! This thing has no issues warming it up within 15min! So now letâs see how long it lastâs ð¤

Title: WiFi control ftw!
Review: WiFi made this heater perfect for my needs. The hole centers in the mounting bracket are 15.5" so mounting on a wall with 16" stud spacing might be a bit awkward. The bracket allows for a pretty steep downward facing angle when ceiling mounted. This was important in my application because it's about 9' above the ground and even at the full downward position, the fan is barely able to blow hard enough to get a bit of heat down around knee high.I wish I could see the ambient temp in the App without having to turn the heater on first. I always have to set the desired temp much higher because the sensor is internal to the heater and being up close to the ceiling, it doesn't reflect the actual temperature in the heated space very accurately. This might be partially due to the relatively low air flow through the small sized heater. We use an additional large fan (ceiling mounted air filtration unit) to distribute the heat through the whole garage (500 sq ft) when needed for working out there in cold weather. Another use for our unit is for directional heat without needing to warm the entire area and it is pointed at the entry area where we come in from outside after using our hot tub in cold weather and it does the job quite well.Measured power draw with 239-241V at the source was 2750 watts on low and 5500 watts on high with ambient temps between 30F and 50F. My meter has been accurate on other devices, so I'm fairly certain it's giving good data. I'm not an electrician, but I tried to do it all by the book. From the measurement device mounted inside my main electrical panel, there is about 15' of 4 AWG wire over to a sub panel which has a 50 amp breaker feeding 10 feet of 6 AWG wire to an L14-50 receptacle. The cable for the heater is about 35' of SJOOW 10/3 cord that is currently held to the ceiling with hooks that would allow me to remove the heater easily for portability if needed. I used a thermal camera to view the circuitry while in use and while there was a small rise in temp in the breaker and in the wiring, it all looked very normal, especially when compared to a similar 50A circuit nearby used for charging my electric car. Anyway, that was all to say that there is likely some voltage drop in the wiring, but nothing that I think would soak up 10% of the power rating given by the mfr. I have no idea if that is a typical variance for garage type heaters or not, so this is just an observation and the heat seems perfectly adequate for my purposes.

Title: Great Modern Heater - With One Issue They Need To Fix
Review: Great modern heater with a small footprint for high 6000-watt output. Front controls are very easy to use and understand. Heat output is instantaneous and powerful for its size. Option for Low/Auto/High fan/heat outputs works well depending on size of room. The Phone App works slick and allows you to easily turn heater on/off, change set points, heat levels and program. Also shows current temperature. This heater has one issue though, that keeps it from being perfect...The temperature sensor is mounted inside the rear of the unit and it easily picks up heat from the heater and ends up short-cycling (turning on/off) way to often. This sensor needs to be mounted externally, or better yet have a Bluetooth sensor that sends the room temperature back to the heater allowing you to place the sensor anywhere in the room.I solved this issue by removing the back panel and moving the temp sensor outside the heater...it now works way better and is the heater it should be. It's easy to do, but make sure unit is unplugged first!!Come on makers of this Heat Storm product (Energy Wise Solutions), please fix this issue for your customers to make this heater a perfect product.

Title: Very good quality and performance
Review: This heater has a very good build quality. The fit and finish of all the parts is very good as well. It provides excellent heat output. I have two of them in a 1400 square foot insulated basement woodworking shop. On any given day, they can effectively raise and maintain the temperature about 10-15 degrees (F) above the normal temperature of the basement (~40 deg. F). I am not trying to heat the basement, just take the edge off the cold, so 50-55 degrees (F) is sufficient.I would concur with the other reviews that suggest an external thermostat. Even after calibrating the units to match my wall thermometer, they still usually shut down about 5 degrees (F) prematurely since they get up to the target temperature inside the housing faster than the surrounding room. That said, I set the thermostat about 5 degrees (F) hotter and problem resolved. For what it's worth, the thermostat inside the heater is centered in the input airstream, so the design is not bad. It's just not quite far enough away from the heater and housing to sense the true room temperature. I had the same problem with my pellet stove. A provision to connect an external, remotely mounted thermostat would be an excellent improvement. It can still ship as is, just give me the option.I researched a lot of heaters and looked at a lot of reviews including a a lot of YouTube install/reviews. Although this heater was among the more expensive units, I believe the value justifies the price. It is a good quality build, it works well, there's no extra dinking around you need to do because the manufacturer cut corners. You unpack the box, wire it up, turn it on, and it just works.
Customers say
Customers like the functionality, ease of installation, and wifi capability of the space heater. They mention it works well, is relatively easy to install, and can be controlled with Wi-Fi. Some also like the control features. However, some customers are disappointed with the air flow and disagree on the heat output, noise level, and build quality.
