Review: Most toasters do not toast very well, and you have to keep turning the bread over to toast the top, sides, etc. For the price, this one is incredible so far! I have only used it three times, so here's hoping it continues.

Review: We purchased the black color toaster. It’s long, like a rectangular shape, but the cord isn’t very long. No matter how I set the control, it burns the toast. It does better with muffins. So, I just have to watch it closely when I’m making toast which isn’t that big a deal.

Title: One LOOOONG Toaster with a weirdly sensitive toast control
Review: Look, let me say straight-up, I have terrible luck with Toasters. They must hate me. All my life, I have never been able to find my one true love toaster. Never even close. Sad, but true.This one was ordered upon a. the death of my Cuisinart, which was unfortunate and mysterious, as an Advil Gel Cap fell into in, never to be seen again. No amount of cleaning, vigorous shaking, or rattling extracted it. b. The need to See What Else May Be Out There Using the Latest in Toaster Technology c. Amazon Gift Cards.First the Good: This is a bargain, aka it is Cheap. Very cheap. And it was Prime, Free One-Day Shipping. I wonder how many Meh products are sold when this golden carrot dangles? I am sure many.Also, it really is working fine. We have tested big bagels, English muffins, Pop-Tarts (both frosted and plain), and all manner of bread for toast including those foot-long slices of Sourdough, frozen waffles... and they've all come out perfectly acceptable.The Bad? Really not so bad. There are 5 toast settings with all manner of settings in between those. So lots of choices. However. In this household, we have since solely hovered between the 0 and the 2 settings. I don't know what sorcery would occur if we set on a 4 or 5!! because the closer you get to 2, the burning happens. Like scorched, charcoal briquette, straight-up-ruined-even-if-scraped burning.Case in point: You pop a bagel in on 2 (you like it fully browned). At 2, half the bagel is golden, the other half is still white. So You pop it in again, this time on 1, with a quarter turn. If you turn your back during this time, perhaps to get the cream cheese, or make kissy noises at your pet, it's OVER. Magic happens somewhere in the space-time continuum and this thing goes from "lightly toasted" to irrevocably ruined in the blink of an eye. Why not try 2.3 or 2.5 you say? All experimented, all failures, my dear reader.In conclusion, if you are willing to be a slave to the last 20-30 seconds of toasting, if you can look past the uneven toasting, and have ample horizontal counter-space to accommodate the extreme length of this toaster, this toaster may be A-OK for you. Of course, and it goes without saying, you are cheap, as am I, and I was able to overlook these points precisely due to that fact.Good luck!

Review: I had a slim toaster for the past 20 years, however it was only a 2 slice. This takes the same counter space but does 4 slices. I recommend it.

Title: Updated: My Christmas Gift
Review: Well it’s March 21, not even 3 months later. This toaster has not kept a normal temperature. Sometimes it makes toast as it should but it could also burn one side (always the side closest to the temperature knob) We have been having to turn it down more and more just to keep it from burning. I withdrawn my last statement on the original post below. Instead I will say it works like a dollar store toaster and I do not recommend buying it.My husband did not like buying me this for Christmas. I almost had to beg. I’m an adult now and I want kitchen appliances.This toaster is very nice, it has 2 wide slots going the length of it. I have toasted wider bread and waffles at the same time. Meaning I can sit down and eat with him and both our food be hot.It says 1-2 are light and 3-4 medium 5-6 darkI tried 3 for my bread and it was way too dark. Level 2 works perfect for us.This is a time saver and you can cook more things than a normal toaster can. I would have to cut off the crust of my bread on 1 side just to get it to fit in my old normal $10 toaster. Bagel, English muffins and waffles have all fit without being smashedI love it definitely recommend
