Review: This little item is an absolute gem. I was never so happy to get rid of my old garlic presses – one that I’ve had for more years than I can remember and one that belonged to my mother-in-law that I inherited when she passed – and that one was really old. I hated using them. I don’t have a great deal of hand strength so they were a pain in the butt. And chopping up garlic just never appealed to me. So when I saw a cooking video on YouTube and saw this thing being used, I was very intrigued.I love that Amazon has almost everything you could ever imagine – I went right to Amazon and here it was. I was delighted. This new toy for my kitchen arrived to me in a few days. I love that it came with a garlic peeler. I did not know there was such a thing. But there is and it’s fun to use and easy. And this rocker that minces the garlic for you is so quick and easy as to not to be believed. This also came with a little scraper to scrape the garlic into whatever you’re cooking and off the surface of the mincer. It’s sturdy – and while it looks small when it comes to you, it actually is just the perfect size for hands, both male and female. My husband loves it as much as I do when he cooks. And since I got it, I cook with a lot more garlic – mainly because it’s so easy I want to use the mincer. Before- recipes that usually called for garlic I would ignore or use some garlic powder. Not any more!!! This item washes up beautifully in the dishwasher as does the peeler, the little scraper tool, and the press. You cannot ask for better than that!!

Title: Not super sharp but sharp enough for the price.
Review: I know this isn’t a knife, but unless you have super fresh garlic this will still work good but not as perfect as the videos. I didn’t expect perfect and am still happy with the product, but I did have to press with my whole body weight to get it mince the garlic. Was very surprised with the garlic peele tool, worked very well and the little knife and brush are nice assets aswell. Good and smart design just maybe make sure you have the freshest veggies or roots lol

Title: Garlic press set
Review: Great product. Sturdy, easy to clean. Tiny brush is not practical for cleaning this product, perhaps you can use on something else. You do need to use some pressure to press the garlic, but once you get the hang of it, it is great!!

Title: doesn't seem to work as well as my traditional garlic press
Review: I used this for the first time today, and had an issue getting the garlic to actually come through the holes, even though I peeled the garlic first, and pressed hard. My regular garlic press (the more standard type with the handles that press together, although that type is harder to clean). They make it look so easy in the videos I've seen advertising this type of press. The garlic was grown in my garden, and smaller than what you might find in the grocery store, so maybe that has something to do with it. I'll try with garlic bought at the store, and update this review afterward. I'd give this 2.5 stars, at the moment. At least it wasn't too expensive.

Title: A great garlic press
Review: This is a very useful gadget and I hate gadgets. I generally just chop garlic but occasionally I need a finer cut and use a press. My old handle-style press was such a pain - hard to clean, hard to get the garlic out, and not really that effective at using the whole clove. I was skeptical about a rocker garlic press but I have to say that I love it! Super efficient, easy to use (I press multiple cloves at once and all the pressed garlic just sits nicely in the rocker ready to be dumped into the pan), relatively easy to clean (easier than a typical press), and doesn't take up to much space. The tools that come with the press are great - overall an excellent tool that I'd recommend - even if you hate gadgets!!

Title: Good find, good quality
Review: I used to use a garlic press which I was having trouble squeezing with my hands. The peeler I wasn't sure of but what a great idea. I have a little trouble with a larger garlic clove but only because of the arthritis in my hand and shoulder, the smaller ones are easy. The little spatula and brush are useful to clean out the garlic from the holes. Everything washes easily too.

Title: Very handy
Review: 1st, thank you to other reviewers that helped me with my choice of this product. This kit is fantastic & so much easier than the regular hinged garlic press. I found the key to making this dicer easier to use for anyone struggling to use this. Slice the garlic in half lengthwise first. The little knife helps scrap out the garlic & the tube really does help get the skins off. Hoping it holds up over time but for now very helpful & getting more for family & friends.

Review: Sometimes I just need one or two garlic cloves, and it is cumbersome to use the big press. I would not use this when I need four or more though as that would be more work. Surprisingly the little rubber gizmo does take off the skin.
