Title: Excellent Quality Potato Ricer
Review: I was very happy to find this all-stainless steel basic potato ricer! I had one like it for years and loaned it to someone, and never got it back. Sad! I wanted to buy a new one, but those I saw in some kitchen stores all had black foamy handles and other parts--very unappealing! This one is streamlined and easy to use, and makes perfect riced potato, which can be mixed with butter, salt and a bit of milk for creamy mashed potato. There are many other uses for it also--one can rice sweet potatoes for sweet potato pie or casserole, and one can use it to make baby food from cooked fruits and vegetables. You will not be disappointed in this great piece of kitchen equipment! I love it!

Title: Smooth Mashed Potatoes
Review: I wanted to see what the hype was about using one of these for mashed potatoes and I'm glad I did. These made some of the most silky, smooth, creamy, delicate mashed potatoes I've ever ate from homemade. I followed a Youtuber Josh Weissman on how he made his KFC mashed potatoes and they were a hit at home. No more pulling out kitchen aid egg beaters to mash our potatoes. Now we can do it without a potato tornado flying around our kitchen. They cleaned up pretty well too. Didn't take too much pressure pushing the potatoes out. Felt sturdy even when sometimes I felt like the hopper was really full and was really pushing to get them mashed. It held up so far. I only used them once so time will tell. I did mash the potatoes while they were still hot. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Title: I like it
Review: I am really glad I chose this ricer of the many available on Amazon. This ricer replaces one that was ancient, beat-up one that I've used for years after buying it used off a card table at a local flea market. I'm glad I bought this model to replace it - many I checked on Amazon were too small. Also, this one is all metal. Most ricers I saw on the site are part plastic. In addition, this one has holes in the side, not just the bottom, like the old one it replaces. Very few of the new models do. Yes, I have to put it over and down a bit into a pan or bowl when I use it, but the holes on the side make a big difference in the ease and speed of operation. Also, the basket is large enough to accommodate a whole potato or potato and a half depending on the size. I've used it now twice and it functions perfectly and makes great mashed potatoes. I really wouldn't make mashed potatoes without a ricer, as I wouldn't bother with peeling the potatoes. With a ricer, you don't have to -- just cut em up, boil up tender, and put em through the ricer. Throw the skins away after you put the potato through the sieve. The skins stay in the basket. The mashed potatoes taste better too when cooked with skins on.

Title: Wowzer, great for draining frozen/thawed spinach!
Review: I bought this after reading about people using this in recipes for spinach dip. I hemmed and hawed, considering how rarely I would use it, but it was well worth it. After thawing the spinach, I dropped it in this ricer and squeezed and voila! Nice and dry to proceed with the recipe. Far better than using a colander, or trying to squeeze dry with cheese cloth. Now that I have it, I'm sure to find other uses. Well made, quality product.

Title: Makes the best "riced potatoes" using red skinned potatoes!
Review: Beautiful no-rust metal materials used to make weekly "riced potatoes".the design is not practical for daily use. I'm so disappointed. The potato ricer I own is 40 years old and, still works perfectly to make great potatoes. Home made gravy is also a great addition. My old one still works perfectly but I'd like a newer model so I have it for a backup. The design on my old one is perfect and works great as long as I am careful to operate it holding it deep inside the kitchen sink to prevent steaming hot potatoes squirting on my hands and arms burning me,The beautiful small red potatoes are fantastic! A friend suggested I save the riced skins and add them to the potatoes.Hot butter and/or gravy completes a great recipe of potatoes. It really makes these into the best potatoes ever, especially when I add the smushed skins back into the bowl as well. This is incredibly tasty with the simple ingredients of potatoes, salt and pepper and the "riced skins."My mom, grandma and I truly love this method of preparing great "riced potatoes." 😉It's a constant potato recipe that is enjoyed by all friends and family. 💋

Title: This is not large
Review: I just received this. Right away I thought the box was small. Whoa. I was right. This is not a LARGE ricer. It's barely big enough to squish a pea. The handle is definitely meant for smaller hands. The quality appears good though.

Review: A fantastic and ingenious product. I was able to make enough mashed potatoes for 5 people within 15 minutes. The mashed potatoes came out very soft, fluffy and creamy. This potato ricer is easy to use and easy to clean. Good build quality and good build material. Shipping was also very quick and arrived the next day. Would definitely recommend and I give it a 10/10.
