Review: It's a potato ricer. Boil some potatoes and then stick them in this and squeeze the handle. It makes for some very creamy mashed potatoes. It works well. I tried doing it with the skins on but don't recommend doing that. it was very hard. I took a star off because the handle is a bit hard for me to use easily but my husband can use it fine.

Review: I love the extra smooth texture this gives my mashed potatoes. It can get hard to close if you fill it too full. I found only filling the basket halfway keeps it simple. A little extra work but the end results are worth the extra steps.

Review: It's a decent sized ricer. I haven't used it a ton or put it through the dishwasher but it seems like it's really stainless and hasn't gotten any rust spots. I'm not a huge fan of the handles. They're not exactly sharp on the inside but it's not pleasant to hold and I can see it hurting or pinching if you grab it the wrong way. The outside of the handles are rounded and fine to hold, but I must've needed to grab it at some point with the open side against my hand and thought "I should mind this".
