It’s never been easier to cook mouthwateringly delicious food than when you grill on the Charbroil® Performance Series™ Amplifire™ 2-Burner Gas Grill. Grill everything from burgers and brats to filet mignon and lobster tails. Whether you’re making dinner for the family or planning a romantic evening, it will be tender, juicy and delicious. Everything tastes better when it’s grilled on this Amplifire™ 2-Burner Gas Grill.
GAS GRILL: Powered by liquid propane gas, this grill runs on a 20-pound propane tank, not included. It reaches cooking temperatures quickly, delivers high temps and maintains even heat.
COOKING AREA: Grill up to 16 burgers, 6 chicken breasts or 4 steaks on 405 square inches of total cooking space. You can cook meats and larger items on the 310-square-inch primary grates and cook with indirect heat and keep food warm on the 95-square-inch warming rack.
COOKING TECHNOLOGY: The Amplifire cooking system grills juicier food, eliminates guesswork and prevents flare-ups. Our emitter plate transfers heat from the flame directly to the grate, vaporizes drippings and sends the flavor back into your food.
SIDE SHELVES: Two large side shelves provide ample space to set your cutting board, tools, sauces and rubs while you grill. When you’re finished grilling, the shelves fold down for compact storage.
BTU RATING: This grill has an 18,000 BTU rating. *BTU is a measurement of energy used by your grill and is not related to how hot it will get. Gas grills with lower BTUs burn less fuel to cook your food.
IGNITION: Electronic ignition ensures reliable starts every time. Simply turn the control knob, press the ignition button and the burners are lit.
TEMP GAUGE: The lid-mounted temperature gauge displays accurate temps, so you always know the temperature inside the cooking chamber.
TANK GAUGE: An integrated tank gauge displays the fuel level inside the propane tank so you can plan ahead for tank replacement.
GRATES: Steel grates are porcelain-coated to resist rust and make them easier to clean. They’re durable, retain heat to cook food evenly and leave impressive grill marks.
CABINET: The single-door black painted-steel cabinet gives you a place for your propane tank. It has an integrated well to hold the propane tank in place when moving the grill.

Title: Nice, compact grill
Review: Just the right size for a small deck, easy assembly, warms up fast. The grill slots are a little hard to clean as the holes are small, I soak them in a bucket of hot water and dishwasher soap before using a brush on them. The mostly open back really needs to be closed in as it makes the whole BBQ seem cheap. We like the 16x16” usable grill area.

Title: Works as advertised
Review: I received my box...it was perfect! box was not damaged. But the entire frame of the unit (where the burner drops into) was bent about 1/2" askew. Nothing a little muscle wouldn't fix. Weird how that happened. It took me exactly one hour to assemble. i timed it. I have put together a few in my day, but the directions were pretty goo. Two of the four swivel wheels have locks on them. Following the directions, they have you put the locking wheels on the rear of the grille. You don't figure this out until you are practically done assembling it.The photo shows a backing to the unit (where the gas cylinder is). My nit only had a small bracket. This leaves the back open and acts as a nice sail for the wind, it you do not have the unit against a wall or other solid object. The 8" hose for the regulator is very short. The gas cylinder will only fit in one position when the equipped hose is attached. I then tried to attach an inline fuel level gauge, and the position of the tank had to be moved a bit, but the hose is too short. So i had to send back the gauge (DOZYANT Propane Tank Gauge Level Indicator Leak Detector Gas Pressure Meter Color Coded Universal for Cylinder, BBQ Gas Grill, RV Camper, Heater and More Appliances - Type 1 Connection). The unit did not show any burning to the paint or the enamel of the grates. Maybe because I conditioned the unit with a slow burn....low heat for a few mins then a quick burst to 575 degrees.. Wash, rinse, repeat.Unit does not seem able to go over 575 degrees, despite the gauge showing 650. Ignitor works flawlessly, and unit heats up to over 450 quickly. Works for me and my needs. Price point was ok as well ($349).

Title: Another Case of Missing The Obvious
Review: Char-Broil got so many things right on this grill yet they missed such an integral & obvious problem that plagues the owner. I've had this grill for well over a year now and I love it (except this one thing). The assembly was terrific compared to other grills, the design is attractive & very functional, the dimensions are excellent, and the performance of the grill is fabulous for everything from your meats to veges to fish.So where's the problem? The grates - these are the absolute worst grates I have ever owned in a grill. "Infrared" whatever...honestly I have no idea if they heat up better and faster but what I do know is that they are the most difficult items to clean on the planet - you'd think Char-Broil would have at least created a grill brush with a design to get inside the valleys of the grates. Nope. Trust me, whatever method they share on how to "easily" clean your grates - it doesn't work and these things will make you hate this grill. I purchased after-market stainless steel grates which while their design sucks because the wires are too far apart, they are much easier to clean. Will have to find a better alternative for grates but just beware that the grill is terrific but the grates will be the death of it.

Title: Perfect for small patio
Review: This is my first grill and I was a little nervous about getting one, but this grill is just fabulous for a quick dinner for two. I love the shelves and that they fold down when not in use so it stores nicely on my small patio. It holds a steady temp and I've even baked a cobbler in it instead of heating up my kitchen in the middle of a Louisiana summer. It's hard to get a temp below 275 but that's still low enough for smoked ribs. It was also super easy to assemble. Think it took me maybe 30 minutes from start to finish. I'm super OCD and was worried about cleaning, but the ceramic surface wipes clean with minimal effort.Only small criticism is the drip pan is very small and I maxed it out cooking a split chicken, but that probably had more to do with my novice status and less to do with the design because it hasn't happened since.Highly recommend.

Title: Great two burner grill.. Well made
Review: Sold my huge Weber for a smaller one that better fit our deck. I researched for days... Read 4 and 1 star reviews then held on for a sale and bought this one. It's a great grill. Small is misleading... There's plenty of grill area. Plus side shelves fold down. It's sturdy and the quality is evident. Everything is tight, every hole lines up with every screw and the burners really are efficient. I love this grill! As other reviews state, it gets very hot very fast and I've done most cooking using just one burner. It's a well made grill and I'm very happy my research paid off.

Title: Our second infrared
Review: We moved to a cold climate and gave away our original infrared grill. 2 years without an infrared grill and missed it, so we purchased another. Yes the grate design is a pain to clean, otherwise its a great way to cook.
