Does the nomadiQ Grill require assembly?

No, the nomadiQ grill does NOT require assembly. It will come ready to be used. Simply unlock, open, and connect the gas, and you are ready to grill.

How long does it take to setup and use the nomadiQ Grill?

It should take less than 1 minute to open and connect the gas, and less than a minute to heat up. Within 2 minutes, you will be ready to grill.

What gas bottles should I use? Propane or Butane?

The nomadiQ Portable Grill uses a standard 1 pound (16oz) propane tank, and will allow you to grill for over 3 hours with both burners on high! Using the hose regulator included with the grill, simply attach the propane tank, and start grilling. (Butane gas also works).

Where can I buy suitable gas bottles for the nomadiQ grill?

The grill is configured for disposable gas bottles. These are common, disposable canister, gas bottles that are available at almost any hardware or outdoor store.

Can I put the nomadiQ Grill on a wooden table or polyester boat?

Yes, the base of the grill is designed in such a way that it doesn't get hot & the grill can be set up anywhere without worry.

What is the maximum temperature of the nomadiQ Grill?

When the temperature controller(s) are fully open, the grill heats to approximately 350 degrees in the middle of both grids, around 300 degrees on the sides and an average maximum temperature of 325 degrees.

Title: Get what you pay for.
Review: It is an expensive option for a portable grill, but you get what you pay for. This grill is high quality and durable.I didn’t want to write my review until I had taken it out multiple times. It has been great for camping, it’s easy to deploy and very portable. The cooking area is great. You can grill 12 pieces of bacon, or 8 burgers, or 4 steaks comfortably.I’ve read a few of the negative reviews about “does not close fully” and the reason is people are trying to fold the grill up after already folding away the base legs. The legs act as an additional lock, if you shut them first and then try to fold it the unit will not seat fully.Fold it first, lock the sides, and then fold in the legs.

Title: Small Size but Mighty Capacity
Review: Just received my grill a few days ago. It arrived in a really nicely packaged box. The entire grill was in a nice black foam container that was formed specifically for the grill.I have used my nomadic grill a few times and all I can say is “I’m in love”. The first thing I love about this grill is its size. My tiny balcony makes it hard to have a huge standing grill but this one folds away and stores perfectly in a drawer, on a shelf, or in a storage container.It’s easy to set up and take down when you’re in a hurry or on the go. The legs lock in place to make space for the detachable grease trays.The capacity is great for any size grill. I don’t see myself cooking for that many people, so I find it most appealing since I can grill burger patties on one side while toasting buns on the other side, thanks to being able to control the temperature for each side.Lastly, the grill ignites with a click of a button. I’ve only struggled once to get it to light, but nothing a long neck lighter can’t fix.I’ve made burgers, hotdogs, chicken, salmon, zucchini, squash, sweet potatoes, & s’moresClean up is a breeze. The grates & trays detach easily and I can throw them straight in the dishwasher.The grill arrived super quickly and the traveling case “pouch” makes it look cute & keeps it safe during storage & transit. I was hesitant in buying this grill at this price, but in the end, It was worth it for the quality and durability. If I needed more capacity, I’d seriously just buy a second nomadiQ & use them side by side.

Title: This Grill is a Jewell if you need Portability
Review: While it did take a bit of patience to figure out how to get the grill to unfold, that was because I don't read directions with the care that I might. Remember that you have to not only twist the two hinge handles and leave them in the locked, twisted position but also pull UP on the grill handles before it will come open!- Having done that and finished the very simple setup, the thing worked like a jewel! After connecting the small gas tank to the Y hose and tightening the connectors with just my fingers, I opened the valve on one side and punched the lighter button. It seemed like nothing happened, so I did it again. I figured something was wrong but in passing my hand over the top of the grill to again attempt to light it, I felt the heat. The flames are silent, invisible, and HOT. There is a cover over the actual flames so that grease will not drop directly on the gas orifices. That is a brilliant design in that it inhibits flares and keeps the holes clear much better than the standard lightweight grills. it comes apart easily, appears to be designed to inhibit oxidation and corrosion, and is quite sturdy.- This device is the first good grill that is truly portable I have ever seen. It is a wonder of modern technology and a piece of cake to clean and pack up. I also bought the carrying case. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Title: Great build quality and amazing compact grill...but can't currently connect to RV propane supply
Review: Solid and well made very compact grill. Bought this for our RV as it is so small and fits into the storage bins really easily. So far we have been running it on the Coleman 1lb gas canisters. We grilled 4 burgers on one side of the grill and they turned out very well - it can fit about 8 burgers in total using both sides. You can run either the left side or the right side of the grill at a time. Vegetables and kabobs have also worked out well - lovely charring. This is the Apple Mac of grills - why has someone not invented this before! It comes with a Y splitter hose combined with a regulator.The problem when you want to connect this to the RV propane supply is that you can not remove the regulator from the Y hose splitter, and I can't find any other connectors or adaptors online that can get around this. So until Nomadiq can come up with an RV propane adaptor or suggest a fix then this grill can not be used with an RV low pressure propane supply (I can't remove the regulator from our RV to make the propane high pressure).UPDATE: I was emailed by Nomadiq yesterday and they are working on making an adaptor so the grill can be used with an RV, they said it would be available in about a month. So I am keeping the grill and using the canisters until this is available.

Review: Der Grill ist für unsere Zwecke hervorragend geeignet. Wir brauchten einen Grill, der platzsparend ist, da er in unser Wohnmobil sollte. Man braucht für den Anschluss an eine große Gasflasche einen zusätzlichen Schlauch mit Druckminderer. Der Grill lässt sich sehr einfach aufbauen und wird dann nur noch zusammengeklappt. Damit ist er sehr schmal und lässt sich super verstauen. Die Grillfläche ist auch für vier Personen groß genug, kann geteilt betrieben werden. Reinigung ist ein Kinderspiel, da die Roste emailliert sind. Wir haben uns noch die Schutzhülle dazu bestellt, damit er nicht verkratzt. Daumen hoch und unbedingte Weiterempfehlung!
