Title: Fun!
Review: I got this for my son (5 yrs) for Christmas and he loves it. Great STEM activities and just lots of fun. Even his 12 year old brother enjoyed making it. At least 45 minutes of play and peace for adults. It does not have a remote control and it is 100% up to the builder to put it together since thatâs the point of the toy. Would buy again and wish I had a set for my classroom!

Title: Gets your gears moving...
Review: Gears! Gears! Gears!® Machines in Motion is a great toy/exercise for following instructions or being creative. I ordered this set for my 5 year old who loves legos, building and pretty much all vehicles and she is having a blast with it. I think it has about 116 pieces and it comes with an instruction booklet for how to build specific moving vehicles and equipment. My daughter loves to show that she can follow building directions so that was the first thing she wanted to do with the set. The instructions are all images, which is nice but they are a bit confusing/overwhelming for a 5 year old to follow; it's just too much on one page and could be done differently to make it easier for younger children to follow. This is a the only reason I gave the product 4 stars; it is otherwise, a great toy. Once she finished creating her first piece using the instructions and with some help from dad, she used the leftover pieces to make her own little imagined helicopters which she loves. The product is well made and comes with enough pieces that you can make some pretty cool things. The piece move easily and work with the other gears sets. I do wish that it would have come with more rubber bands, as they are inexpensive and I'm assuming they will start breaking eventually and we'll have to come up with replacements somehow. But for now, it's lots of fun and creativity in a box!

Title: Stimulates creativity
Review: My son is on the spectrum and loves this. He doesn't follow the directions but creates what he wants and it works. Maybe he will grow up to be a engineer.

Title: Better for older kids
Review: I know the box says 5 yrs old and up, but it really needs to be rated for a bit older. Purchased for my almost 6 yr old & currently a adult is needed to build with the child. It is enjoyable & a great toy, so Iâll give a good rating, but it canât go as low as the recommended age.

Title: Perfect STEM stimulating gift for kids
Review: Young kids will love this gift! I got one for my neighbor's 8 year old son and he couldn't wait to get it out of the box and create things with it. He got created and started making things not shown in the instructions. It is great and makes me want one too! I was looking for an excuse to buy someone another one of these great STEM gifts!

Review: Got these for my sons fifth birthday following the success of giving him the easier, more basic set, for his third birthday. Its one of the toys that he goes to the most, very good for imaginative play, he's always building fantastic little machines. This set will require a bit more adult help I think until he gets the hang of the possibilities.
