Title: Impressive Look & Accurate
Review: The package arrived promptly and was extremely well packaged. The leather case was very sturdy and embossed with Gilbert & Sons of London. The sundial compass looks great and is well built. It has unexpected features like a needle lock and bubble level.I looked up the latitude and solar noon time for my location. I set the sundial compass on a table in the sun and used the compass needle to orient the device to magnetic north. I raised the sundial ring to match my location latitude. Solar noon for my location is 12:12 PM, so I added 12 minutes to the sundial reading. Guess what? It was within 10 minutes of my cell phone. Well done. I was so impressed that today I ordered 3 more for Christmas presents.

Title: Beautiful product; one small issue
Review: My husband loved the product when I gave it to him it's very well made and functional. The only issue we had with it is that it is missing one tiny brass screw on the hinge that lifts up the sundial portion. We were wondering if we could get a replacement screw for it even though the return window has closed. Thank you

Review: This is a beautiful functional novelty compared to two other compasses it is just as accurate and the sundial is just a nice addition the size may make it abit troublesome to be of practical use and it maybe a bit fragile to pack around but it is light and looks great great for display and even occasional use but not something that fits in your pocket 😀
