Relatable characters, clearly written by an author with a sweet and humorous imagination.Themes of friendship, curiousity, and acceptance.I'd say you could read this as a picture book to kids as young as six, and I agree the ideal reading age is, as the book itself says, seven to nine year olds.Couldn't finish without mentioning the top class illustrations throughout! Wonderful.Highly recommend.
