You can set alerts to notify you when and where the tracker went over the speed limit and at what speed. Review: SizeIt's a tiny box, 3.5x2x2 inches, Inside a very well-sealed weatherproof box. Magnets are oversized and very powerful. Most of the weight is from magnets. Itself, the unit weighs mere grams.AppWhen vehicle parked for extended periods, I instruct it to update location every 30 mins. This makes the battery last about 3 months. Even though setting is 30 min, it won't really update unless vehicle moves. "Last seen 55 min ago." But, it does auto-update location if vehicle starts moving, and it will actually continue to update every 25-30 min on that setting.GPS accuracyDepends on where you install it. Clear view of sky or not? Big City with lots of tall buildings or countryside? Overall, accuracy is as good as your mobile phone would be.Under vehicle, precision is about 100-200 feet.In the truck bed, covered by plastic liner, 3 foot super-accuracy.In the glovebox, under dash, about 40-50 feet.Under plastic bumpers, about 20-30 feet.Inside door pockets, or anywhere inside vehicle, about 10 feet. But then thieves can see it too.BatteryWhen the kids take the vehicle, I set it on 5 min updates, but battery lasts <2 weeks then.I like that it charges to full battery in ~90 min, through a regular USB-C port.RuggedIt has so far survived two 130F summers and zero degree winters, car washes, mud, ice, rains, dust. It doesn't fall off when you go off-road. Magnets are really oversize and really really strong.Overall great product, It does what it should. Have had it for about a year now, without issues.I thought about using a cheap mobile phone, but then you'd constantly have to connect it to a charging cable. Review: We use these daily for tracking rental items. The battery life is "ok". We've never gotten a month out of the battery, even set at 10 minute intervals. I really like the distance reports and use that to help track maintenance.

Title: Great tracker for the price!
Review: For$39 it works great, plus $19 a month for subscription. My only issue is the accuracy is not perfect. It can be off by a few hundred feet when sitting. Signal is obviously bouncing. However when moving on the street it seems pretty close to correct. I suggest the 10 second update when tracking a moving object/ person. This gives the best route history and actual cornering. Otherwise it cuts off the corners due to lack of updates. Overall I’m very impressed. Comes with a nice weather proof magnetic case for attaching to a metal object (car). Battery life seems good so far. Mine has been on for a week and still shows 100%.

Title: High quality, heavy duty nice GPS tracker works very well!
Review: No complaints except the fact that be careful when you’re entering your email and information. If you enter it wrong, you will not get the email to activate your device. I did this and of course it was after customer service hours therefore I couldn’t put it on the vehicle, which really stunk, another FYI is when you plug it in to make sure it’s fully charged. It turns it on, you don’t need to do anything else. I turned it on after I had the charge so I had all reality. Turn it off. Went to look for it, of course couldn’t find it because I screwed it up… follow directions and be careful setting it up and it’s great. Customer Service also gets five stars!!!

He takes $20 a month for GPS only. You can get any smartphone, with a prepaid provider for $25 a month and get internet voice, data, and text. The fact that they are just using a SIM card for GPS makes $20 per month steepVersus the competition: I have always used to Tracki and I think this is a similar price with the subscription and advice, with very similar accuracy, destiny different platform and interface. It also has better battery lifeThe prior version of Optimus is the best price for what you get, but the battery life is less and tracki he has more options. I simply looking for accuracy and price, not battery life, you don't this new version. However, has a one-time purchase I don't see why you wouldn't catch the one with the best battery life since tracking often poses a challenge when it comes to keeping it charged

Title: Great tool in the fight against domestic violence
Review: We have a relative who has made threats and attempted to gain access to our home. With the Optimus tracker placed on their car, we've always known when the threat was near and have had the police on their way before the relative made it to our driveway.Long battery life is key. Their add says 2 months at 1 minute intervals. That setting can be changed from your PC or App --- so we often have it at 10 minutes then change it to 1 minute when we see movement that concerns us. We have gone 3-4 months+ without feeling a need to replace the tracker.The tracking app is great -- just like any other Map application. You can zoom in to the tracker's exact location.In addition, the detail reporting was much appreciated by the DA in our recent court case. We could show a pattern of harassment from the vehicle's movement.Unlike an airtag, this device is hard (impossible??) to detect.The peace of mind that comes from knowing where the threat is at any moment can't be measured in dollars.
