Title: Great place to start!
Review: The last time I seriously read/studied anything about Greek mythology was middle school. I've come across various things that contain Greek myths and legends since then, sure, but never went out of my way to read about it. But... some stuff happened and I got tasked with learning this, so here we are.Honestly, this book is excellent! The writing is great, easy to follow, and the author spends just the right amount of time explaining each god or hero. I didn't learn about the deity I was looking for in this book, but I learned a lot about others, so I'm happy enough about that. And I like that the author makes a point to mention where both gods and humans did terrible things without getting too caught up in that.I'm not usually this kind with book reviews, so I think that ought to tell you something, too.If you're wanting to learn about Greek gods and heroes, definitely get this book. It isn't academic, but it's a great place to start!

Title: I really enjoyed this book
Review: I really enjoyed this book. I just finished reading the Persephone and Hades series by Scarlett St. Clair and I wanted to brush up on my Greek mythology information, and this book was perfect. The artwork is amazing I really enjoyed that as well. Not a huge book either so it's not too intimidating for those who like simple reads. However still had lots a great info.

Title: A new favorite
Review: I pre ordered this book FOREVER ago. It finally arrived. I devoured it like a starving animal.First, I am a HUGE fan of Liv's "Lets Talk About Myths, Baby" podcast. Love Liv's charming, fast talking, feminist, funny point of view of many Roman and Greek mythology characters. Her story telling does not leave you bored and uninterested. This book carries on similarly. Its beautiful in illustrations. Loved all the colors and art work. The book is a manual of who is who and what is what that any beginner would appreciate. Its easy to follow, organized and the description of loving legends doesn't leave the reader disappointed. Liv delivers her funny, interesting descriptions of characters to a delightful read. Not boring. What's better? She even inserts at the end more titles to continue your obsession of Greek and Roman mythology.Loved this book. Solid thumbs up and nerdy high five to Live.

Title: Great beginner guide
Review: I love Liv and listen to her podcast all the time so of course I had to support her book. As a Greek mythology lover all the stories I have already heard but this Book is perfect for a beginner who just wants A concise break down of some of the main stories. Not only are there stories of the myths themselves but great references to other books media and pop culture. The art itâs beautiful and it looks really cute sitting on my coffee table. This would be the perfect gift for somebody who wants to get into Greek mythology and doesnât know where to start or someone who has heard the myths but wants a tangible reference they can easily access.

Title: Book amazing, shipping not so much
Review: This book looks amazing! I love the art! I wish there were more pictures! Even if it's not a full page, it would be nice to have a small image of each god or character! I read a few character blurbs. It's definitely a good book to start learning about Greek myths. The book is 5 stars! The shipping, however, was subpar. It came very quickly, but came damaged. It was thrown into a box with one of those air cushion things. The top corner of the book by the spine was crushed in a bit. It's fine, but annoying. I gave this 4 stars only because I received it damaged. That's nothing against the product, more how Amazon ships it. It shouldn't be loose in the box. It should be in a sorter box or be wrapped to protect it from damaged.

Title: I love it 🙂
Review: I've always been a huge fan of Greek Mythology, but I'm very picky about the books I buy related to it. This one immediately caught my eye with the art style and overall look of the cover. I had high hopes and they were definitely met once I had the book in my hands. The pages were very neat and didn't feel like there was too much going on. The stories and biographies were also written very well. 🙂 It also has a modern, realistic touch which can be fun and relatable. There's a lot jam-packed into this book!! I very much recommend to those who are a fan of Greek mythology/are wanting to get into it.

Review: This book is a waste of money for the price. The stories (if you could call them like that) are so short and so badly explained, it's like if I was reading a book written by a kid in a hurry. Also, I feel the book is a little to much feminist, I wouldn't have a problem whit that, but the autor remarks almost in every page that feminist side, it's a little annoying.I think this book was a really waste of money, if you're looking for a good mythology book go for Edith Hamilton's one, or even Stephen Fry's.

Review: I am autistic and am having an ADHD assessment. I found this book gives me enough information in a clear and simple format. My mind tends to wander, so the short sections were great for me.Anybody needing more in depth information will need another book. But this is great as a starter for understanding the whos, whats and whens. Great for adults and children learning together.
