Title: Fell apart
Review: It broke after a year and a half of infrequent use. I guess that’s longer than a lot of other reviewers have mentioned, but that still sucks.The actual collapsing motion requires a fair amount of force and I think that ultimately caused the flimsy connection between clear plastic & green silicone to fail. I cracked a small spot on the inner basket after like 3 uses but it never caused any issue with operation. But today I literally just picked it up off the drying rack and the bottom detached from the bowl.I really liked this salad spinner because it collapses to a flat state when not in use, which is great for my kitchen with limited storage. It also has a pretty large capacity. The handle for spinning is not the easiest to grip, especially with wet hands.This isn’t worth the steep price, that’s for sure. I think I got it on sale last summer for like $35, which seemed kinda spendy but I splurged on it. Today I winced when I saw the $45 price tag! That’s waaaay too much. Save your $ and buy a different one.

Review: I absolutely LOVE this salad spinner. As I'm getting older & wiser, I'm making a list of things everyone should have & this product is near the top of the list. It works really well getting the excess water off of the lettuce and the best thing I discovered this summer is that the lettuce seems to last a lot longer when I store it in this container in the crisper drawer of the fridge. I grew a lot of lettuce in my garden this summer, so much that I couldn't eat it fast enough & this product kept it clean, fresh & crisp. I raved about it so much to my mom & sister in law that they said they wanted one. So when I gave them each one for Christmas, you would've thought they won the lottery by their reactions! I can't say enough good things about this salad spinner & I love that it's collapsible for storage too. Great product! Never thought I'd be so excited about a salad spinner but as you get older, it's the little things that make a big difference.

Title: Flimsy inside spinner
Review: I had a spinner same company same look and it lasted 6 years and never broke. It got some black marks in it so I decided to get a new one. Same company same look. This one lasted 5 months then a broken inside spinner. Seems flimsy. Contacted company for replacement and no response. The only time it was all collapsed together was upon delivery. I always store it full size in my cupboard. Very dissatisfied.

Title: Good for small spaces
Review: This is the third one I’ve had. They don’t last as long as a non folding one but it is super nice to fold it up to save space. It works very well and the greens seem to last longer if you store it in the bowl. I will continue to buy new ones as they wear out.
