Title: Would recommend
Review: Nishio Bloom is a well balanced matcha with nice floral notes and little to no astringency. It’s not very strong, but it is well rounded. The bitterness is pleasant and doesn’t linger. I’d say it has a medium umami flavor. For a matcha on Amazon, I’m very pleased. The quality is on par with the price. I’d recommend this particular blend if you are willing to pay. If you like matcha lattes, this is a treat when cold whisked!

Title: SO GOOD!!
Review: Omg I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this product. Can you see how bright green the matcha powder is?? That is how it’s supposed to look like. You can tell it is such fine, quality ingredients. It’s smooth, not bitter and just overall perfection. I made a banana cream matcha latte & it was AMAZING. I’m excited that I get to save so much money just making it from home. This is the first matcha powder I’ve tried and I’m glad it was this one. If you’re on the fence about buying this one, don’t think just buy!!!

Title: Makes delicious lattes
Review: I'm a huge matcha fan but no expert, I'm learning the differences. Way way better than starbies or jade leafThis is : Perfect bright vibrant green color, not bitter, fresh smells amazing, froths up super nicely with half and half (no water/cold whisk). Not grainy at the bottom, perfect iced or hot. Will but again. Very close to another brand I found on Amazon.(See pic of side by side) Unsweetened.

Title: Great quality but smaller quantity than what I was expecting
Review: First and foremost, the quality is topnotch. Vibrant green color and a great clean taste. I drank my first cup of it this morning and have had great energy and felt good with a clear thinking mind. It does to me what Matcha normally does. My only negative here is the quantity you receive is not that much. That's my fault for not paying attention to the size in more detail. It comes in a small tin jar that's pictured and is in a vacuum sealed bag when you open the tin. Great product but I'm not sure the small quantity justifies the price.

Review: Update to the section below:The company reached out to me offering a full refund - and I suggested a replacement - which they processed immediately. Received the Matcha yesterday - and it is really good - I drink it iced - mixes well with cold water - very satisfied!This product arrived on time - however the packaging was damaged - a hole in the pouch - machta everywhere - and it's a bit messy- gets all over everything and is difficult to clean.... pretty expensive product to have it spilled all over the inside of the shipping container.

Title: Smooth and creamy! 10/10, even better with pistachio! 100/10!
Review: I chose Naoki Chiran Harvest. This is my first intro to matcha and ordered a starter kit from Amazon. This matcha tastes so smooth and creamy! It was not bitter at all. Very pleasant. I loved it so much, I decided to make a second one and add pistachio syrup. And wow! It was even better! I am proud to say I’m a matcha girl now! I’m so glad I tried this, as it will be part of my daily routine from now on. The color is vibrant green and I think the container will last a while because you don’t need a lot. The tin says to use it within 2 months for freshness. It expires in May 2025, I got this in August 2024. It came sealed with plastic outside the tin, and the inside is a sealed bag. I would buy this again!

Title: Delicious Umami, but Takes Practice
Review: This matcha is absolutely delicious once you figure out what you’re doing. I’ve reduced my order on this to just a few times per year and mostly switched to Naomi’s All Purpose Culinary Grade Organic, simply because it’s CLOSE ENOUGH (but not as good as, and thus cheaper than) this Supreme matcha. Seriously, this stuff is heavenly, if a bit finicky.My method: heat 3Tbsp Dark Maple Syrup to hot-but-not-boiling in a small heatproof container, in the microwave; I put it in a small mug. Sift in 2tsp of this matcha and whisk briskly to combine; I use a frother that is turned OFF until the powder is wet before turning it on to whisk in any pockets of dry powder. Leave the hot slurry to sit for at least five minutes, up to a ten minutes. In my quart-size cup or jar, I put in ice and about 1.5 cups of whole milk. Gently mix a little milk into the matcha slurry to thin it out, making sure to get as much of the slurry off the bottom and sides of the container. Pour that matcha mixture into the milk and ice, and stir to combine. I top it off with whipped half-and-half, and enough milk to fill the quart. So good. If it’s too ‘grassy’ you probably need to adjust the heat of syrup OR just try adding less matcha (nah). Keep in mind that this high grade matcha can be easily over heated, over whisked, and/or over indulged; the learning curve is real.

Review: I use this daily to make my matcha tonic! It’s great quality with good amount of earthiness but isn’t just bitter. Super easy to use and I also made matcha basque cheesecake with it! Great for both drinks and baking 🙂

Review: Being a uber-seasoned Match tea drinker once in a while I like to give new matcha teas a try and when this one showed up in the system I thought ok I'll give it a try. I only purchase ceremonial because I drink it for both flavor, texture and for all-day alertness...regular and Culinary do not have these qualities..Surprisingly this one has very little of the mentioned it remains very lumpy even after mixing with a whisk. Flavor is a 2 on the 1-10 scale (flavor more like grass then a premium Ceremonial matcha) as far as all-day alertness I was yawning at 2pm. If you are a seasoned matcha tea drinker I would say pass this one by quickly. There are two ceremonial Matcha teas sold here on Amazon.ca that are in my opinion is pretty good not a 10 on the ceremonial scale but pretty close. This one deserves only two stars. If you are looking for ultra premium ceremonial matcha you will need to order it straight from Japan which can be done online and you will see what premium tastes and feels like.
