Review: I used an older model Presto griddle for years and while it had its issues, it was a reliable champ and I knew that when I bought my own griddle, it would be Presto.I really couldn’t be more pleased with this griddle! It heats quickly and evenly, the nonstick works perfectly, and has ample surface area for cooking.The older model I’m used to had 3-4” legs, so I appreciate the slimmer profile because it’s easier to store. The lip around the edge is helpful for flipping and for keeping food corralled onto the cooking surface. There’s an opening for liquid runoff that goes into an amply-sized removable drip tray; there shouldn’t be any worries about it overfilling while cooking.My one and only complaint is that the drip tray doesn’t click in securely, so it easily falls out while moving the griddle. I often switch mine between vertical and flat, so I use a bit of masking tape on either side to keep the tray from flopping around and being an annoyance.I do highly recommend this griddle, as I made a giant pancake and was impressed at how evenly it had cooked.

Review: I am more than impressed (and relieved) that this griddle worked so perfectly. I read reviews for several griddles, so I was afraid to buy any of them. I was almost convinced that there is no griddle out there with even heating. However, I personally did not notice any "hot spot" problems or have trouble with some things being more cooked than others. I gave the griddle more than enough time to heat even after the indicator light came on and the heat seemed pretty even to me. I have only used it once so far. I had a few friends over and made about fifteen pancakes. I used a half cup of batter for each pancake and was able to fit three pancakes on at one time. I know there are some reviews that complain about the size, but if you read the product dimensions like I did and know what you're getting into that should not be a problem. If you plan to make a lot more at one time than I did then you should get a larger one. Plus, I know some people use less batter for one pancake than I do, so you might be able to fit more than three. Mine were about IHOP size and it didn't take me long at all to make them. Also, I know another problem with a lot of griddles in general is overheating or food getting too dark in a very, very short amount of time and I did not want to risk burning the pancakes, so instead of turning the heat to 350-400 degrees for pancakes like the directions said, I turned it to 325 degrees and just let them cook a little longer.Overall, the griddle was a joy to use. It is light, easy to clean, and easy to store. It is perfect if you don't have a lot of space for a larger griddle and don't plan to try to feed a large crowd. And at the time that I bought it, the price was just right at $19.99. I have not cooked anything on it other than pancakes but I am excited to see how it does with other food.

Review: There's lots to like about this griddle. Non-stick surface makes for easy cooking, and cleaning. The unit heats up very quickly, requiring about 3 minutes to reach 350 degrees. Heat appears to be uniform over the entire surface. Great tool for cooking eggs, hamburger patties and what have you. Highly recommended.

Review: I love this grill, and use it roughly every week to make pancakes.I was surprised at how fast it heats up. I haven't timed it, but I'd say about 3 minutes to heat up to 350ºF. Others may think this is slow, but to me it's fast. The top has a nice even heat to it, and I haven't once burned a pancake on it even when I forgot to flip it for a few extra minutes.It's much better than trying to use a pan and an electric oven. This grill only heats up to the dial, so I can turn it on and walk away without worrying about damaging my pan.The non-stick is nice too. No more burning butter in a pan. So far, it's held up nicely to hand washing. Obviously I don't use metal flippers on it.I usually don't like these types of products as they become very messy and hard to clean up, but this model is submersible. I just soap it up with a sponge and run it under my sink.As I stated, I normally don't go for these types of products, but the price for me was right to give it a try.If I had to put a negative down, I'd say two things, both of which are trivial. First, the little slide out drip tray falls out really easily when moving the unit around. It stays put just fine when actually using the unit though. I just have a habit of picking the thing up from the back. My own fault. Second, be careful of the plug. For my set-up, it likes to wrap back around and sit right on top of the grill.Lastly, I'm kinda sad I didn't see they had a bigger area unit for sale when I bought mine, not that I would have bought it at that time. After using this unit for a while, I want more area so I can make pancakes even faster. I can fit two large pancakes at a time on the grill. I'm sure better cooks or smaller pancakes would increase how fast one can crank out food. I find it enough to keep two people in pancakes until they are sated. For a larger family with hungry teenagers, I'd want more space to make sure people aren't waiting for food.Overall, I'm very pleased. This is a practical product at a good price. I bought a second one for my friend for Christmas.

Title: Good for a few years
Review: I had a presto griddles before, two as a matter of fact and I purchased an additional one as a gift once upon a time. When it came to replaced it I went looking for one and ended up buying another brand at a local store, right after the first coked meal, I could already tell that I picked up something that was going to end up in the garbage. Sure enough I believed I used it four, five times and I went looking for my presto. So happy to have it, so easy to clean and so far everything cooked to perfection.

Review: I was shopping for a fairly specifically-sized griddle, as I wanted it to fit in the same footprint as my previous griddle. This one offered me more heated space (ie: less frame) than my old unit, and seems to be of a decent quality. The heat distribution on mine seems very good (judged by a fairly even colouration on pancakes; I'm pretty sure that's an industry-standard test......)The overall construction feels a bit low budget, but I can't see an obvious failure mode waiting to happen, and expect that I'll get as much life-per-dollar out of this as I would its more expensive cousins. So far, so good. 9/10 would buy again.

Review: I bought this accidentally not realising that it is for the USA electricak system. Buying a transformer for such high wattage would have added a lot to the price. To their credit, the seller immediately accepted the return and refunded me. By the way, the item itself has the highest reviews, so if it is compatible with your electrcity system I would recommend buying it.
