Review: This wing rack for grilling is great! I like that it is large so you can fit multiple pieces on each rack and since the set came with 6 racks, these will work well to feed the whole family! It is essentially like a big hair barrette; you can skewer the food onto the pole and then clip it shut or just clip it down between the sections. You want to make sure there is enough food in the clip so it’s tight and the food won’t fall out but be careful not to overlap things too much or they won’t cook. This device keeps the meat off the grill surface so the heat circulates and things get crispy! I like that this is versatile in that it is marketed for chicken wings but you could also use them for skewers, sausages or hot dogs….. Overall, I am happy with the product but I did have to deduct one star because they came in a ripped, clear cellophane bag with no instructions. While these are not complicated and no assembly is required, I would have appreciated care instructions, some cooking tips and the company’s information for future reference. I also didn’t like the fact that these had some kind of residue on them that felt gross and left blackish marks on my hands when I unwrapped them. These were easy enough to clean with hot soapy water though and I am happy to have them as part of my outdoor cooking equipment.

Title: Wing rails are a decent way to flip your wings on the grill.
Review: I won’t say that these wing rails changed my life. You can grill wings without them. However, flipping them over can be a pain, and these rails provide you with a good way to flip about 6 wings at once, which is the number I was able to fit on one rail. My wings were a smaller batch, though, so you may not fit as many larger wings onto one rail. On that note, you need to take care when placing the wings onto the rail, as they could fall through when you try to close or flip it. I think now that I’ve used them one time, I’ll know better for next time and it will be an even better experience. I also want to point out that you will get two rail marks on one side of the wings and one rail mark on the other, so if you are wanting to present your wings, you’ll want to avoid these. But if you’re just making wings for a casual time, I’d recommend them. There is a very slight learning curve, but after doing it once, you’ll get it.

Review: These are a nice way to hold chicken for grilling. I did knock it down one star because they don’t come with instructions and I had to go back to the Amazon page to see how to use them. But once I figured this out they are easy to use. The only problem is if the piece of chicken is too small to fit into the frame. I usually buy boneless chicken thighs and they come with smaller pieces as well as normal sized. So I have to find another use for those small pieces.
