Crema de Aguacate

The hot sauce in this recipe doesn’t make the soup particularly spicy. It just adds a subtle acid note to cut through some of the cream.

Avocado Green Curry Noodles

Making your own green curry paste is easier than you probably think, but feel free to substitute store-bought if you want. There are some great options available in most grocery stores.

Avo Deviled Eggs

This mayo-free, avocado-stuffed egg takes a note from those spicy stuffed eggs of old by adding a little jalapeño. Of course, you can also use avocado in your favorite traditional deviled egg recipe; simply replace the mayo with avocado.

Blueberry & Avocado Muffins

A little avocado gives these muffins a fantastic tender and moist crumb and the perfect crust. I suggest making a double batch and freezing any you don’t gobble up immediately.

Avocado Chutney

I’m a sucker for sweet-and-sour dishes, so I want to spread this chutney on everything, like the Lamb Chop with Avocado Chutney and Spinach Avocado Phyllo Rolls.

Avocado & Cream Paletas

It may seem strange to have avocado in an ice pop, but avocado pairs surprisingly well with cinnamon and cream. While you can make these with any avocado variety, try fruitier versions like Choquette or Bacon if you can.

Waffled Avocado Quesadillas

What’s better than a cheesy avocado quesadilla made in a waffle iron? You have to try it to believe it. Just be careful to avoid getting cheese in the waffle iron, or you’ll have a lot of cleanup to do!

Thai Stuffed Avocado

Tamarind paste gives pad thai its signature flavor, and it’s hard to replace with anything else. This dish will still be delicious if you have to leave it out, but it won’t quite have the same pad thai quality.

Black Cod with Avocado Cauliflower Mash

This recipe looks fancy, but it is stunningly simple. It calls for black cod, just because I think it’s delicious, but you can use just about any roasted fresh fish...salmon, trout, and halibut are all terrific.

Title: A fun cookbook
Review: I have so many cookbooks but this little gem is going to be fun to use. I adore avocados and this author provides lots of creative ideas for eating avocados I’d not thought of…photos are great too!

Title: Great for avo lovers who are curious for variety, busy, and/or vegetarian. My first real cookbook.
Review: I'm not one to delve into cookbooks in general, so it is quite something to say that this one has caught my attention. I've taken it to the grocery store twice now as I've shopped. I've read it in bed for fun. I've tried several of the recipes, from savory to sweet, to refreshing drinks and cocktails, and all turned out great - even in my hands. I think having a high power blender, like a Vitamix, does make a difference. What I love about it:- Simple, easily obtained, ingredients that the author purposely repeats in several quite different recipes so that there's not much waste -- either of your ingredient or cabinet space. Needing to use up an ingredient is also good motivation to try another recipe.- I'm vegetarian and find that I can make nearly every recipe as is, and even the meat or fish dishes have something I can learn from.- It's so creative, and it's beautiful to flip through.- I'm learning other cooking skills ...like how easy it is to make labneh and cashew milk.

Title: Every recipe i've tried is great
Review: We all know that avocados are great for health in general and weight loss in particular but what's there after avocado toast (a bit of a cliche these days) and guacamole? This book is great and although I haven't tried every recipe yet, every single one I tried was great. I've bought two additional copies as gifts. Highly recommended.

Title: I only wish!
Review: Since the avacodos we get in New England, in the supermarkets, are bland-tasting and hard, and must be left out for sometimes a week or more before they are edible, I hoped to find some interesting recipes to spruce up the taste of the avecados I could buy. The book doesn't disappoint in that department, as most of the recipes call for hot pepper, but that isn't an option for me as my husband doesn't like spicy things (and I don't like lime). So I've made a few of the recipes, particularly the guacamole recipes, just leaving out the red pepper and lime juice, and using black pepper and lemon juice instead, and that worked for me.

Title: Great recipes!
Review: I have a family member who LOVES avocados, so I thought this would be a fun gift. Once this came in the mail, I looked at some of the recipes and actually wrote them down for myself! Not only are the recipes healthy, but they're very simple and easy to follow. There's also a variety in here, everything from avocado toast to breakfast to mac n cheese to desserts to drinks! Cool gift, definitely recommend.
