Title: An American icon
Review: What's not to love about Wahl clippers? I have only had one before but that was because it lasted decades. I bought this clipper because the old one finally quit. It outlived just about every other thing I own. This new clipper is built just as rugged, cuts as well or better, and it is quieter than my old clipper. The carrying and attachment case is very well laid out and extremely useful.So many great American companies have diminished the quality of their products in pursuit of profit but Wahl has bucked that trend. I doubt they have suffered any loss and I am sure they continue to add loyal customers, especially those who appreciate quality.I am enthusiastic about Wahl and these clippers. Buy them and see what I'm talking about.

Title: Fantastic Clippers
Review: I have been a fan of Wahl products for years. My old corded pair had seen better days and I decided to try a cordless set. After using those for three or four haircuts - I realized nothing beats a good set of corded clippers. During Amazon Prime Days these clippers were on sale and I stepped and bought them. They are fantastic. Much quieter than any other corded clippers I have had. Just as quiet as cordless clippers. Fantastic power. Clean, fast, and professional looking results. The attachments are a step above the normal Wahl attachments. The case is great. It keeps everything organized. I have been thrilled with these clippers. You get what you pay for and these clippers are worth stepping up for.

Title: So far they do a great job
Review: Over past 50 plus years I have used and purchased a number of Trimmers/Clippers to keep my beard trimmed. But since Covid I have been cutting my own hair. It saves me $$$ and time traveling to the local hair dressers some 20 miles away. The smaller beard trimmers are not meant to be used to cut 6 inch long hair and often stop or tug out the hair rather than cut it. After poring through literally dozens of Clippers on the web and Amazon I settled on these Wahl Pro ultra Quite based on the many 5 star reviews. I have only had them a couple of days and just tested on my beard, which they cut effortlessly. Tonight will be the true test removing 9 months of hair growth, but with the multiple cutting heads it's looking like I will achieve the results I want faster and with much less pain ?Update 7-21-2024I removed almost 9 months of hair growth equivalent to around 2-3 inches, the clippers cut quite well didn't pull the hair but because there was so much hair I had to clean the cutter head more than a dozen times. Took about half an hour to trim the hair doing this by myself. The results are not too shabby !

Title: Quality is not what it used to be....
Review: I was excited about get fresh new clippers that were supposed to be quiet. Started to cut my hair and realized the teeth were misaligned and made noise with the lever in the up position. Kind of defeats the purpose of getting "ultra quiet" clippers. The motor was also underpowered for "professional" clippers. Could have gotten it exchanged for a new one but this is the second WAHL product I have bought in the past few years that has underperformed and been obviously low quality. I have been buying clippers from WAHL since 1991 and their products are not the same as before. Since I used it for the one haircut I contacted Amazon and explained the situation and they said it was fine and asked me to send it back for a full refund. No more WAHL products for me.
