Title: Fun-Easy-A little messy-Will Buy Again
Review: My hair is wavy and down to the middle of my back. Iâm naturally brown hair and about 50% gray, Iâve added the before pictures just so you could see how crazy itâs been growing out and pretty much ugly because I havenât colored it in about 10 weeks. My hair has always been colored on the red side out of a box permanent color. This is the first time Iâm using a semi permanent hair color color and first time going with a non-natural standard color. I am trying only the Magenta by itself.Iâm putting these notes together as Iâm doing the process so I can tell you, I have No Idea how this is going to turn out. ðHereâs what I did:1.) I mixed the hair color with about a third of white conditioner and mixed it.2.) I added a mixture of shampoo and conditioner below the hairline to try to prevent skin staining. Iâm always challenged when it comes to these home jobs.3.) Went into the shower and sat on the floor with the mixed dye and my gloves on. I have long hair, so I leaned over the bowl of mixture, which is rather runny as people have mentioned. Applied mixture to hair carefully while leaning over the bowl to make sure none of the product got on my shower floor.4.) From there, I cleaned the bowl while still in shower by adding water and pouring it directly down the drain to keep it from spreading throughout the shower floor. I did this a few times until it ran kind of pink. I also washed my comb which cleaned up just fine. I placed the rinsed bowl on a dark towel in case pink might show up from any leftover water. Put the bowl in the sink until end of process cleanup.5.) I didnât use my comb throughout any of the application except to mix the conditioner and the hair color because I couldnât find my hair dye brush. It worked fine. Cleaned up perfectly.6.) Then, I wrapped my head in plastic wrap as best as I could without really looking at what I was doing. Just enough to keep the drips off my skin and the hair up.7.) Sat on the porch for 45 minutes with a glass of wine and waited. Thoughts running through my head thinking I must be crazy and this is a total home experiment. I am nervous.ð¬ð¬8.) Cool rinsed in the shower with without shampoo. Because I use the curly girl method to keep hair from looking too fried, I figure the leave-in conditioner is just fine instead if the suggested shampooing for the moment (today?). Iâll shampoo with my low poo later today just to make sure I donât leave product wherever I put my head (pillows) later.8.) Went out for dinner with hubby. He likes the color.Update: This color has lasted much longer than I thought it would. I wash my hair about 2x a week with low-poo so that may be why it has lasted so long. My roots have grown out and need touch-up but the color is great. I like color while it softens with washes. Going to try Cajun Spice next. Wonder how that will turn out on top of this Magenta. ð¤July 21 - posted a picture of just Magenta color about a month old. Roots are dark with grays and rest of hair is quite bright magenta1. Just going to go for it with Cajun Spice color right over the old- no conditioner mix and no heat2. Results pic posted - my thoughtsâ¦. Drum rollâ¦ð

Title: Great and affordable
Review: As the daughter of a master cosmetologist I've been dying my hair since I was 14 (15+ years experience). I've tried them all, punky color, manic panic, artic fox, joico, splat and more. I've vetted every product through my licensed cosmetologist mother and never got any kick back due to harmful ingredients or other factors. That being said, this is my new favorite brand for fun semi permanent colors at a reasonable price. I've used it on myself and my daughter (see pictures for break down).I wanted to try several colors from this brand prior to reviewing so that it would reflect a bigger range as some colors will last longer or process differently. I wanted more of a neon green for my first color and the green apple was not dark/neon enough for me so I decided to mix a bit of emerald in to achieve the color I wanted since I did not see the exact color I wanted in the colors available. My base color was a BRASSY dark blonde and my daughters was a less brassy brighter blonde, so my original fear was the cooler color neutralizing the brass more than it showing through. The first dye (green apple) on my hair was not bad. The color was good. The first dye on my daughter's hair (emerald) did somewhat come out dull from the brassyness (did not take a picture) but after a few days, I did a second coat and it came out as pictured. Each time we dyed, I used a brush/bowl application method and let it process for 1+ hr (because I'm busy and forgetful). Here are my thoughts:Pros: didn't stain my skin an insane amount when I had accidental drippage, color lasts more than 2 weeks (4+ washes), mixes well if you want to adjust color, covers well and pretty even depending on your base and your application, affordable, large range of colorsCons: it takes a lot of washing to fadeI love the range of colors to choose from and I love being able to mix them and not end up with something muddy. I also love that it is pretty long lasting compared to other popular semi permanent colors (look up dye vs dye on YouTube). The only caviot to that is if you like to change colors often, it may be harder depending on which direction you go on the color wheel or if you only want color for a short amount of time like vacation or leave from work, this may not work for you. It also did not stain my daughter's hair when we did the blue and make it a horrible shade of green that we were unable to cover. So all together, I really love this brand of dye and will continue to buy as need (a little goes a long way) but it may not suit everyone.

Title: Vibrant!!
Review: The Adore Semi-Permanent Hair Color in 112 Indigo is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to add a vibrant blue hue to their hair. Hereâs a closer look at its features and performance:Pros:Vibrant Color: The indigo shade is rich and true to its description, providing a striking blue that stands out beautifully.Vegan and Cruelty-Free: Adoreâs commitment to being vegan and cruelty-free makes it a great option for ethical consumers.Easy Application: The formula is easy to apply, gliding smoothly onto the hair without excessive drips or mess.Conditioning Formula: Many users find that it leaves their hair feeling soft and nourished, thanks to the added conditioning agents.Long-Lasting: While it is semi-permanent, the color tends to last well, especially on pre-lightened or bleached hair.Cons:Color Fade: Like most semi-permanent dyes, the color may fade over time, especially with frequent washing.Staining: The dye can stain skin and surfaces, so it's important to use gloves and protect your workspace during application.Limited Color Range: While the indigo shade is stunning, those looking for a wider range of colors might need to explore other options in the line.Overall, Adore Semi-Permanent Hair Color in 112 Indigo offers a vibrant and ethical option for hair coloring. Itâs perfect for anyone wanting to experiment with bold shades while maintaining the health of their hair.

Review: Quite vibrant! Combed thru towel-dried hair, left on for about 20-30 minutes and rinsed out.Raspberry Twist on black hair with streaks lightened somewhere between dark and medium blonde.Only used about 1/4 bottle, as my hair is just above shoulders, and I mainly applied at the lightened parts.Does not include gloves- I got a 2-pack reusable latex set here by BaBylissPro.Product does stain- some still managed to get on my fingers and arm but scrubbed off right away with no issue. Did leave a pinkish hue and spots on the tub, but washed away without a trace with my VIM Creme cleanser.Overall very happy with this item and looking forward to trying other shades! Was skeptical as product looked runny/syrupy, but application was fairly easy- I expected no change in my dark hair but the lightened parts took the colour well- and I have leftover to top up when it fades.Great product, fast delivery, highly recommend!
