Review: TL;DR - This really works and is so easy to use! Watch the YouTube videos first and then cut an inch at a time to get used to it. Just search “creaclip” and you’ll find a bunch of videos.I love how my hair turned out! These picture are from the morning after I cut my hair. (Please excuse my trash pandemic eyebrows, I know I need to do something about them.)—————————-I used to cut my own hair (freehand) for a long time until I messed it up once. Then for the next several years, I went through a revolving door of salons trying to find someone who will cut my hair the simple way I want: V shaped layers.Every hairstylist I went to always seemed to just do whatever they wanted. My hair would be too short, too straight across, in a dreaded U shape, etc. THEN the bill would always be more than expected and I had to tip even though they didn’t listen to what I wanted.When the pandemic hit, I stopped going to salons. My hair was becoming a real problem when it got long enough to sit on.On one of those endless Buzzfeed lists, I saw the CreaClip. I watched some videos and ordered it. The CreaClip is awesome! I love that there’s a kit with scissors so it is ready to go when you get it. Also, it more than pays for itself with just one use.First, I watched some YouTube videos again. Then, I put a plastic trash bag on the floor for easy clean up for the clipped hair. At first, I cut an inch at a time but my hair was so long that after the first two cuts, I did a bigger cut of about 4 inches. Then I went back to 1 inch cuts.I love how my hair turned out. Review: I think there’s a bit of a learning curve with this product. But overall, the product works as advertised. It especially helps when you need to trim your bags in between appointments. But the layering you can get also works but is easier if you have long hair versus short hair.

Review: I saw this on Shark Tank and paused the show and ordered immediately. All I can tell you is this product really works. I watched the u tube video and then also read directions and proceeded to cut my own hair. Let me say that I think of my hair has being one of my best assets. Think about it, your hair is like your crown. Your hair makes an immediate impression of your style, personality and separates you from others. Just the cut alone can improve your self esteem if needed or makes you feel sassy or happy and worst, the bad hair day. It litterly can change your day! I am one who personally hate to take the time out to go to my stylist just because of the break in my day or worse my weekend! I just know going was a necessity. Well, not anymore. I know nothing at all about cutting hair. I thought to myself if I screw this up, it is just hair and it grows back out or could be fixed. I followed the directions that was so simple and much to my surprise, my hair came out better then it ever has at the hair salon. Shocker! Shocker of all shockers. This product does what it says it does. My scissors were sharp as well. Maybe I lucked out on them because reading the other reviews, that was going to be a concern but thank goodness that was not an issue at all. I am thrilled for the lady that invented this quick fix for all of the women that has no hair cutting experience at all and nail it. Also happy for her that she got the investment she asked for from one of the Sharks. Title: Overpriced/hard to use alone
Review: I gave myself a pandemic haircut today. I won’t be doing that again. Ever.This product is ok, NOT worth nearly $60.I really thought these would be some type of magic secret that would somehow make it easier in a way I wasn’t expecting but it really didn’t. It just gave me a false sense of security and I went for it and hacked the shiz out of my poor home styled pandemic hair and I’m pretty sad now lol 🙈SCISSORS - are good - maybe thats the reason for such a high cost, but I’m not a stylist so I’ve never used or needed professional sheers. I know my hair stylist spends thousands (not hundreds) on hers and they have to be professionally sharpened etc. So I know you aren’t going to get high end scissors for $50 anyway but that’s not why we’re here, right? At least, I wasn’t looking for high end hair scissors that’s for sure.THE CLIPS: they are what you expect. that said, no plastic clip with a level could ever justifiably be $55.I used these alone, I don’t recommend that. Have a friend help you and it will probably work fine. However, if you have someone to help you and they have decent eye sight and a steady hand you should be able to get a straight across cut without a plastic clip to guide you.In the past when I needed to trim off some dead ends I just used mirrors to see the back of my head and carefully snipped here and there and it worked out fine.In summary, I do not recommend this at all for use alone. I still gave three stars because I could imagine my grandpa using this to help my grandma if they were still alive, but unless you have limitations with your hands or eyesight I think these are totally unnecessary.Either way, at the price of $55 this is a total rip off.

Review: Husband bought me this so I’d stop complaining about my dry split ends (in lockdown, salons are closed). Honestly I was not impressed when it arrived. Did not think for a second it would work with my thick wavy/curly hair. Boy was I wrong. Was SO easy to use and I’m happier with the results than I have been with many salon cuts. I gave myself lots of layers and cut the exact length I wanted. It took me longer to clean up the cut hair than it did to actually cut it.*Tip for those with curly hair - don’t straighten it like the instructions suggest. Just put the clip in a couple inches above where you want to cut, pull the clip down until it’s level then cut underneath.
