Title: Works great doesn't burn
Review: The smell was a little off putting, but it didn't smell horrible. 1 box was enough for 2 mowhawks and a beard with a lot left over, then 1 full box on my older kids very thick hair that's also a mowhawk. 3 boxes for my hair which is pretty long (just shy of half way down my back) and very thick. The boys turned out super platinum blond, 2 have dark blonde hair and 1 has brown hair. My hair turned pink (as I expected) but I have been dying it shades of red for about 2 years and wanted to go back to purple. This stuff stripped a good amount of the very dark red out down to a pretty light pink in only about 40-45 mins. Easy to rinse out and surprisingly didnt bleach my shirt. It also didn't fry my hair! Did a moisture mask after and my hair is soft and shiny. Will definitely buy this again!

Title: Absolutely the best bleach ever.
Review: Okay, first why I don't have a picture because I did do some kind of shoddy work if I'm being honest... I didn't really care about the full result because I was just going to die another color anyways. I will say that it took dark brown to about light blonde in about 40 minutes. Other parts of the hair that didn't get as much time or turned into dirty blonde. This was on thin wavy hair.As for the product itself, came with everything that made it so much easier like the mixing container. It also didn't smell bad or burn. I'm used to most bleaches burning or stinking up the whole bathroom but it actually didn't smell bad at all. Smelled a little like paint which wasn't bad in my opinion. It literally left the hair superrrrr soft. I'm talking ridiculously soft. Normally it feels completely stripped after using bleach but wow. If I'm ever bleaching hair again, whether mine or someone else's I'm definitely buying this bleach again. Left a long lasting impression most definitely.I would recommend if you're going to do this though that you use hair foil because I feel like part of the reason why mine turned out so bad was because I didn't use that hair foil that people use for bleaching hair. I did it section by section and it's still had some parts that were the last done and were darker than the other ones. It's definitely fast working though and you could leave it in for like 30 minutes if you just want to go up a few shades.

Title: Pleasantly surprised.
Review: I had buzzed my hair a couple of months ago, and now that it's a couple inches I decided I wanted to go blonde/platinum while it's short and much easier to achieve with virgin hair before growing it out, especially because my natural hair is super thick (I typically use BlondeMe or Wella lightener but I didn't want to spend upwards of $40 when my hair is currently super short). My natural hair is a dark brown with reddish undertones, I left this on for an hour and it pulled my hair easily from a level 2 or 3 to a level 8 (an orangey blonde); I only used about half of the tray, so I went back in with the rest to lighten it further to a pale banana color before I toned it out. For less than $10, no nasty strong smell or discomfort like regular lightener, this was so worth it. The only thing I'd recommend is to buy a toner- the toning mask provided smelled really good but didn't make even a slight difference even on my already light yellow hair and was very thin and hardly pigmented; fortunately I already had some Wella T16 Polar Ice toner on hand and Fanola blue/purple shampoos from previous blonde adventures, so I was still able to achieve a cool/beige blonde from dark brown, but the lightener REALLY surprised me for the price, I'll be purchasing again for root touch ups and I definitely recommend! 💕

Title: Genuinely impressed
Review: Recently, I've been keeping the underside of my hair a bright green. Acquiring that color requires lifting my dark brown hair SEVERAL levels to a very, very light blonde. Typically, I use a Volume 40 developer and bleach from Sally's when bleaching my hair, however I was short on time and cash, so... I bit the bullet and ordered this kit instead. Hoping for the best but preparing for the worst, I didn't really know what to expect here - this kit only has a Volume 20 developer so I feared my roots would get stuck somewhere around a brassy level 6 (aka strawberry blonde), never reaching the light blonde required to get my green back. The good news is... I was wrong! I am so pleasantly surprised by this kit. After about 45-60 minutes, this kit lifted my dark brown way up there, somewhere around a level 8 or 9. Way better than I expected! You'll notice it's very yellow - that's because I didn't bother toning it since green goes over yellow very well, but the bleach itself TOTALLY does the job and is perfect for a quick n dirty root touch up.I subtracted one star here ONLY because a) I feel the amount bleach you get is quite small and b) I think it is slightly harsh compared to the stuff I buy at Sally's - not TERRIBLE, but my hair does feel a bit drier than I'm used to and I'll probably baby it a bit with a hair mask later this week. For such a low price, and such convenience (no more measuring parts and doing math!), I think this is a great option!

Title: Hard to rinse out
Review: I have been highlighting my hair for over 40 years and I have never had a solution so hard to rinse out. I understand that you should rinse with very warm water for at least 5 to 7 minutes. That was no where near enough time. After rinsing for aa solid 13 minutes and still had residual solution in my hair. I had to shampoo my hair to get it out! Will not purchase again.

Title: Good lift
Review: Good lift for 1B hair. (I have 3c/4a type hair) Gave me great highlights and lowlights. I still prefer my favorite brand over this but wanted to give this one a chance because of accessibility and quicker shipping. This is perfect if you have shorter hair. But if you want to do a full head of shoulder length hair or longer, id suggest getting two boxes or looking elsewhere.

Review: I’ve used quite a few hair bleaching kits in my time, and I can safely say that the Knight & Wilson Colour-Freedom Cream Hair Bleach is one of the best I’ve tried. Let me tell you, though, there was definitely a moment when I was standing there with my hair slathered in bleach, wearing an old t-shirt that I wouldn’t mind sacrificing, and thinking, 'Is this going to work, or am I about to look like a science experiment gone wrong?' Thankfully, no disasters occurred, and instead, I got salon-quality results right in my own bathroom. The whole process made me feel like a bit of a mad scientist, but in the best way possible. The results? Worth every minute of looking like a DIY sci-fi character. It’s ammonia-free, which means no eye-watering fumes or harsh chemical smell, a big plus if you’re like me and have to bleach in a poorly ventilated bathroom. Despite being gentle, this stuff says it lifts up to 8 shades and it does what it says without completely wrecking my hair. The cream formula makes application really easy, it’s thick enough that it doesn’t drip everywhere, which is a major relief. It comes with everything you need, including a tinting brush, which made me feel like I was in a mini salon at home. I was able to get an even coverage, and the consistency meant I could really work it into sections without it drying out too quickly. What really sets this bleach apart is the added protection and repair elements. My hair didn’t feel fried or like straw after I rinsed it out, which is honestly a small miracle considering how much lifting power it has. I could tell the conditioning ingredients made a difference, my hair felt soft, and there wasn’t the usual panic over breakage when I combed through it afterwards. If you’re looking to go lighter but don’t want the damage that usually comes with bleaching, I’d highly recommend this kit. It’s powerful, but it also takes care of your hair in the process. Plus, no ammonia means a much nicer bleaching experience overall. Knight & Wilson really got this one right
