The set comes with 4 storage containers that are a perfect way to store your burgers in the fridge or freezer prior to cooking. (Please note that the storage containers will only hold up to a ¾ inch thick burger.)

Make perfectly formed burgers 3 ½ inches in diameter. The press compresses the meat so that it doesn’t crumble and fall apart while cooking. The press can be used with ground beef for regular hamburgers. Try using ground chicken, ground pork or ground sausage meat for more tasty treats. You can make burgers in various sizes and thicknesses. In general, a 2 oz burger is 3/8 inch thick. A 4 oz (“quarter pounder”) is ¾ inch thick. 6 oz makes a 1 1/8 inch thick burger and 8 oz (half pound) makes a 1 ½ inch thick burger. Thicknesses will vary slightly depending on the type of meat used.

Title: The Better Way to Build a Burger
Review: These are great, highly recommended.The burger press works well. I always used to wing it, but the burgers are just better after being pressed - they have a very even thickness and distinct edges and just come out better somehow. The burger containers are also very cool, as you can put the whole stack in the freezer and when you want one, when you take it off the stack, each individual container comes off with its own cover. Voila! Nicely done.

Title: Hamburger holder
Review: I like this for making hamburger patties ahead and freezing them. I was trying to move things around in my side by side freezer and they were on 2nd shelf from bottom, 4 of them fell onto floor and broke because they were frozen. I was very disappointed that they broke from so low a fall. That shelf was only 1 1/2 foot from floor.

Title: Lids
Review: Nice patty press, reminds me of the Tupperware one I had that was great. However, the lids for the individual patties to use for freezing DO NOT FIT AT ALL. Very poor design. My patties were not even full to the brim and the lids would not stay shut.

Review: Interestingly, I don't use this product for making hamburgers! I use the "collar" as a cutter for making butter tarts. For this purpose, it is PERFECT! The burger holders are great little trays for toppings for pizza or doing crafts with my granddaughter. In the long past, I did use a kit like this for burgers, and the collar and press works well, but on a regular basis, it's for butter tarts!
