Title: Great Product, Everything Just works.
Review: Literally the best headset I've ever worn, and I have gone through quite a few in the last few years. I work from home so I wear my gaming headsets pretty much 16 hours a day, more than 5 days a week. I've purchased and used the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2, Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX and the Logitech G533 Wireless in the last 3 years. All of them broke, bricked, or are no longer able to connect wirelessly to ANYTHING, in less than 1 year of use.But the Steelseries Arctis Nova 7P? HOLY HELL. It sounds awesome, it's comfortable, the mic (though seemingly flimsy) sounds great and is very durable. The materials are sturdy, but light weight. The cups are closed but don't make my ears all sweaty. And the bluetooth multipoint? LITERALLY the best! I connect it once and it *JUST* works. No disconnects (unless due to inactivity), no toggling back and forth, no fiddling with cables... you just turn it on, connect it to both machines and you're done.I use a USB switch for work and I was constantly having to tinker with other headsets whenever I switched between machines. NOT the Steelseries. They're most reliable, consistent, comfortable, quality headset I've ever owned.Only problem is it has no Ambient Surrounding settings. 360 audio doesn't mean in the real world (but it didn't really seem like virtual surround sound while playing games either). I can't ever hear anything going on around me. Which is a plus for some, but I have a dog with pica and I need to listen for the tell tale sounds of his scrounging or choking. Been to the emergency room once already... so I just can't keep using this headset. But man, they'll be missed.

Title: Awesome headset overall
Review: Pros: Super comfortable, not too heavy, long battery life. Relatively plug and play on PC. Very good sound out of the box.Cons: Overall a bit pricey given the build quality/microphone quality. Needs Sonar software to sound their absolute best, or to get the most out of the headphone/microphone. Yes, its free, but still -Out of the box, sound quality overall is very good. On PC using Sonar EQ features, the headphones can be made to sound excellent overall, if still a bit etched/bright/harsh at time IMO. The microphone is overall pretty good with AI and other "enhancements", but I find adjusting the boom a bit annoying as I have to fight it a bit every time I pull it out to get it to rest properly near my mouth. I can always see in in my periphery as well, which can be a little distracting. Its possible that there is better value to be found just investing in a separate dedicated microphone. But having the "all in one" solution is convenient.I am very picky about audio quality, and I find these satisfying, especially after a careful tune. The 40mm drivers can really deliver on the bass, and deliver lots of detail and volume with low distortion.Comfort is excellent, though the clamp is almost too light for my taste. That said, I can wear these for hours with no major comfort problems with or without glasses. But they are too loose, even after I adjust them, for any sort of active wear. These are for sitting/walking around a little. Volume knobs are easy to find, though I'd like a little more resistance in them, and the ergonomics overall beat some of my other headphones for sure. The wifi range (not bluetooth), is quite good - I can play something on my computer and wander pretty far from it and maintain a signal. In terms of cons, I find these headphones a bit awkward to attach/detach from different devices with bluetooth. Its various beeps and boops and breathing LEDs do nothing for me in terms of figuring out how to disconnect from one device while staying connected to another. I'd like it to just tell me what it is trying to attach/detach to like my 7 year old Bose bluetooth speaker. The 2.4 ghz connection does not seem to have a benefit over bluetooth in terms of sound quality, which is a shame, and I don't know what happens when I break/lose that dongle. The on-board amp gets very loud, though there is some hiss, and one apparently has to enter the Sonar software to shut off the volume limit to get the full volume anyway, a bit of a quirk.Which gets me to another point: the "free" Sonar software is powerful, but it is also really needed to get the most out of these headphones. It is full of quirks - you need the "engine" menu to adjust or shut off the side mic feature, shut off the volume limiter, or to reduce game volume during calls. In the "Sonar" section, you can customize EQs for different inputs, but I found it impossible to copy an EQ I created for the "game" mode and set it to "media" or "aux" as well. Hence I have to repeat the process of doing my 10 point parabolic EQ over and over - tedious. Sliding with a mouse is fine for the uninitiated, but I needed to enter my exact values, and the software makes you click in the tiny boxes, and could not do Q values below 0.5. When listening to Music on my computer, it is also showing up under the "game" mode in the mixer, meaning I have to remember to turn on/off features like "spatial audio" since, while it is fun for games, it is terrible for music. You can drag and drop the "app" to its appropriate section, but this is more setup work. Also, Windows update has broken the Sonar software multiple times (no audio no matter WHAT I did - even audio driver reinstalls!). So far the solution has been to just re-install the Sonar software, easy enough. Still, this is super frustrating, especially the first time it happened because I had ZERO indication of what went wrong.IMO there should be a way to set a "global" EQ (parabolic, not just the sliders which IS available in the "engine" menu, confusingly), if you want. There should also be hotkeys I can set up to turn on/off things like spatial audio, the EQ, or adjust the side mic or other mic features. Heck, why not let me set an EQ and save it to the headphone itself, so I can have it when using these with my other non-PC devices? That would make these even more awesome and let me have consistent sound across devices. As an inferior solution, we could have an engine/sonar app for our phones/tablets, I guess.I still recommend these overall, for those wanting a good headset with a good mic that is fun for games but capable of being great for casual music/movie stuff too. When gaming I am still getting the hang of balancing chat/game sounds since everyone seems to have different microphone quality. I was hoping that one of the many features of this software would be to tame some of the hotter microphones out there. A pair of cheap, non-gaming bluetooth headphones I own seemed to do this a lot better. For the full asking price, I think some of the compromises in terms of material choices, microphone quality, and features are a bit of a stretch. But for the sale price I paid, I think it is about right, especially since the Sonar software really does up the ante if you are going to do a lot of gaming. Lets hope it stays free, otherwise I might have held out for better overall "out of the box" performance.

Title: Excellent sound quality, easy to set-up on XBOX & PC, fantastic Range
Review: It took me a long time to select headphones for XBOX gaming & on-line webinars with the added bonus of bluetooth connectivity to my cellphone. I did a tremendous amount of research which is really difficult because the majority of manufacturers website descriptions are geared towards teenagers - all glitter and noise with meaningless videos. Maybe I am old fashioned but I want specifications like the range of the 2.4ghz connectivity - simple questions right? Can I go outside for a smoke or get a cold soda from the frig without dropping my connection - the vast majority did not list the range of their connectivity or if their app for sound adjustments carried over from PC to console (in my case the Xbox). Fortunately, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X has excellent range - I found that standing next to heavy duty electrical devices - like my Samsung Refrigerator caused interference but not a total disconnect, 75' from the plug in dongle. Moving the Dongle from the XBOX 1X to the PC (2' from each other) and flipping the XBOX/PC switch was a breeze, syncing the headphones was a no brainer, just turn headphones on they sync immediately, on board headphone controls took a little getting used to especially the bluetooth on/off and the headphones on/off dual switch is poorly labeled with some raised symbols - they should have used some paint to distinguish which position is bluetooth vs headphone power - I have to get a flashlight and glasses to see the markings. Other than that the headphone mute is a locking pushbutton with a audible tone and a red LED on the microphone to let u know if mic is on or off - REMEMBER to SHUT MIC OFF if you are retracting the microphone back into the headset or all kinds of weird feedback will occur - obviously since mic will pickup what's coming from that side of the headset. I found after messing around with the app that out of the box flat setting was great for most purposes. I have a very high end Dolby ATMOS/DTS:X 7.3.4 surround system so even though the headphones sound decent as compared to a pair of studio quality recording headphones - nothing compares with my home theater speakers. I could wear these headphones for several hours before my ears started to get too warm. Microphone quality on group IP based teleconferences and via bluetooth for telephone calls is excellent and being able to connect to both the Xbox or PC via Quantum 2.0 over 2.4Ghz and to any bluetooth device, in my case my Galaxy phone simultaneously is a welcome feature. Answering a phone call automatically mutes the microphone to the 2.4Ghz connection whether it be the Xbox or the PC.Finally the battery life is pretty amazing - @38 hours for the USB connection only or 26 hours if you have both the USB (2.4Ghz) and the Bluetooth on together. The USB C fast-charge connection on the headphones is very fast with 15-minute charge providing 6 hours of USB time if u are dealing with a completely dead battery - which is an almost impossible situation considering the 38 hour capacity. A real world example is using the headset for 5 hours it took about 15-20 minutes to get it back to 100%.You can customize the appearance of the headset with optional matching metal earcup plates and headband in 4 colors Cherry Red, Mint Green, Lilac & Rose Quartz. It comes with all the cables you will need to charge (USB C male to USB A male - 5'), connect USB C Dongle (including a short USB A male to USB C female to connect to Xbox or to a PC if dongle interferes with PC/Laptop USB C port and other connections), and even a 3.5mm to 3.5mm (4 pin to 5 pin) 4' audio cable to connect headset in analog mode to Xbox controller or other analog audio input/output headphone/mic jack. If you need a splitter cable for the analog connection to separate mic/headphone you would need to purchase that separately it is on Steelcase website as is the color upgrade options. It also comes standard with the breathable cloth earpieces which can also be replaced with the vinyl cups if u wish also optional on Steelcase website. A rather cheap clothlike storage bag comes with headset - it will at least keep dust and pet hair off your headset.I rate this headset 9.5 of 10 considering reduced Amazon price, excellent sound, range, positive connectivity (no disconnects for me at all), battery life, dual simultaneous connectivity 2.4Ghz & Bluetooth, best microphone quality and best software-controlled sound and microphone control - this after trying and returning other major brands in this price range, and comfort/fit, finish. The only minor complaints are the cheap storage bag and the somewhat difficult combination bluetooth power and overall power on/off buttons being one rocker switch and hard to read labeling for that switch - visually the Bluetooth LED indicator is Blue and the overall power button for the 2 way dongle LED is green - so u know u made a mistake after the fact if wrong color LED is lit.BTW the room I use this headset is LOADED with wi-fi "smart" devices including 8 ceiling LED lights, 4 wall sconce LED lights, 2 wi-fi controlled window shades, Amazon Firecube w/Alexa, LG 77"C1 OLED TV. Xfinity 4K cable box, Xbox1X, all Alexa controlled via 2.4Ghz wireless & hardwired. The key to having all of this in one room is to hardwire as much as possible (main wireless router is in basement, hardwired remote 8 port switch behind A/V racks) - so all of the A/V equipment is hardwired - the lights and shades are 2.4Ghz wi-fi, nothing seems to interfere with the Steelcase 2.4GHz Quantum 2.0 Gaming Wireless connection dongle which is 15' from where I typically sit with headphones.

Buenos headsets!

Review: I know I'm a year late to write a review but I wanted to see how they hold up over time. These are amazing build quality, I have bought Steelseries 7 and 9 and the flaw in those are the ear cup hinge are made out of plastic ear cup with a metal hinge inside the ear cup would snap the plastic and the ear cup would fall out.Steelseries Arctis Nov 9 are all plastic including the hinge and ear cup and after a year there still perfect not loose at all. The headband is metal and it's perfectly shaped and the strap is comfortable. To get the best sound out of them you need to use Steelseries Sonar settings for sound and mic and they are awesome.I never had any issues at all with these headset and it's a must have you game, music or watch movies. These are perfect for it and lightweight I don't have any neck pain or feel a heaviness on the top of my head. Also very good for cellphone calls sound is clear and no issues what's so ever. I think Steelseries should ditch the metal hinge and stick with plastic as it's more sturdy and won't break.

Review: I have had many headset for work and XBOX. These are by far the most comfortable I have ever owned. However, I am a little disappointed that they can't Bluetooth to my phone like the last Turtle Beach set I had.
