Review: When I think of this book, I think about the beer belly that I’ve developed from all the wonderful beer that I’ve drunken. Not to say beer is bad, but it does give me a beer belly. The first couple of chapters focus on reducing fat which are referred to as “Belly Fat Diet.” Catchy and to the point, which I like. It is comprehensive with diets and recipes for all meals of the day. It is great for those individuals who are interested in those high protein lean meals with reduced fats.I particularly enjoy the 7-day belly fat diet plan. I’m not much of a planner when it comes to meals so this is a great way for me to have some organization in my life.The best section in my opinion is the slow cooker portion of the cookbook. I can definitely appreciate a quick and easy meal that tastes wonderful. It is great and quite revolutionary for me to see that there are recipes for dessert type items in cookbooks. I had no idea you can make carrot cake in a slow cooker! Just blew my mind.Overall, this is a creative book with such a nice purpose. It debunks a lot of my myths on healthy eating and knowing that not all slow cooker meals are unhealthy. Title: I like how the authors explain exactly what the Belly Fat ...
Review: Because I carry the majority of my unwanted weight in my belly, I decided to give the "Healthy Diet to Lose Weight: Lose the Belly Fat and Slow Cooker Weight Loss" kindle book a try. Before I go any further, I just want to say, wow, what a fabulous collection of tasty recipes. There are a lot more recipes included in this 175-page book than I was expecting.This book was organized into two sections: 1) Belly Fat Diet and 2) Slow Cooker Cookbook. I like how the authors explain exactly what the Belly Fat Diet is, the benefits of the Belly Fat Diet and Essential Tips for Success with the Belly Fat Diet. I believe when people understand why they are doing something and how things are supposed to work, it makes it easier to follow and see results.In Section 1, the recipes are broken down into meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts) so it takes all the guessing out of dieting. Of course the dessert recipes are my favorite and the peanut butter balls recipe was so delicious!! I absolutely love that the "Healthy Diet to Lose Weight: Lose the Belly Fat and Slow Cooker Weight Loss" book outlined seven days of meals for you. They absolutely took the work and guessing out of everything.Section 2 is the Slow Cooker Cookbook. I really liked the variety of recipes included in this section, and I love using a slow cooker to cook. The Macaroni and Cheese Crock recipe was delicious. Actually, there were so many amazing recipes in this section. This section also includes a 5 Day Meal Plan. I really like when books like this take the guessing out of things.I would recommend this book.
