Title: It uses my existing battery bank
Review: The vest works really well by itself or under my jacket. I didn't need to buy another battery bank. It works with the one I already have. The three heat settings all work. Blue gets barely warm. I use this if I'm layering. Green, the next highest gets noticeably toasty and red gets hot.Just remember that the battery drains the fastest on higher settings. The length of time that the vest will heat depends on the amp hours of your battery and the heat setting. This is the way of anything that uses batteries. It's not specific to this vest.I love the vest. It fits well. The pockets are zippered and it has a lightweight puffy jacket feel and the price was good. The only thing I can say negative about it is that it seems to heat a small amount even after the switch is off. I've started unplugging the battery to fully stop any possible drain. But, I love it enough to consider purchasing one as a gift for my daughter.

Title: Heats up, sure… but…
Review: Ok, so this vest “isn't as bad as I was expecting” according to the person I got it for. I do photography and had an outdoor shoot with a model who is always cold… like always! So I got this for her to wear to the shooting location which was maybe a 1/4 mile hike into a wooded trail in the middle of December. So here are the main points:1- Vest did not come with a battery but getting the right one was simple. Just ensure the battery supports the correct voltage.2- The best is pretty thin and not very warm as a plain vest.3- The heating pads get quite warm! Which is exactly why I got it and the model was very appreciative to have it.4- According to her, it isn’t as ugly as she was expecting so honestly, I think that’s a win.5- The price is not outrageous for what you get. It isn’t going to last years of heavy use but for the price, it will get her through this season.It’s an ok vest. I’m sure there are vests rated for Antarctica that are much thicker and retain the heat more effectively but you’re going to pay 3 to 5 times as much. For intermittent use, however, this vest is fine. And it’s not ugly!

Title: Comfy, and warm
Review: Everything is amazing, it’s thin and not bulky, warm, you can control the temp where ever you want. I have a Milwaukee jacket and the power source is in the back so you’re sitting on it when sitting down. This vest it’s in the front pocket so it’s more convenient.

Review: Update: company has been very helpful in communicating and is sending me a battery pack. I borrowed a battery to use at an ice rink last weekend and it worked well.Just a warning. It can’t say it has a long battery life when you have to buy your own.
