Title: Proper measurement makes for flattering jeans
Review: I always start out saying that measuring tape doesnt lie.This brand is Lee. Like most brands, they have their own size chart. Also this particular style won't flatter all figures... Especially if you choose a size too small. So measure yourself, and look at the sizing guide. Theres a bit of a trick to it (not really).I like:1.The material of these jeans is soft and has some stretch to it but its not suffocating in warmer weather.2. The high waist is perfect height.3. They give the perfect silouhette (like wide legs pants/jeans circa 1930s-1950s) *as long as you get the correct size for YOUR measurements.*My height and weight cannot help you decide your own size. Why? You might ask.I AM 5'4". My measurements taken with a seamstress tape at various times of the year:Fullest part of bust with bra on: 35-37Waist at navel: 25-27Hips:35-37My legs and arms are a bit lengthy and my shoulders are broad. I have to buy larger shirts just because of my shoulders for some brands.Someone with the same height and and weight as myself might have a larger bust, a smaller waist and hips than mine. And they would need a smaller size of these jeans and wear larger size shirts.Or if a person is a pear figure they might need a larger size while their shirt size would likely ve smaller than mine. Even if we weigh the same we need different sizes. Get it? Good.I purchased the 2 short. Why?1. Im 5'4".2. My waist measures 26" most of the time.3. My hips measure 37" most of the time.Usually when jeans are sized they shouldnt be the exact same measurement as the body. They should provide an extra inch or so to accomodate for tucking in your shirt a d fitting over undergarments.I had a suspicion that Lee would factor that into the sizes... They did.The jeans add 1.5 inches to accomodate and they call it size 2 (i guess for vanity's sake?). While the EU size us 26 (an actual size 6 according to classic garment making). They are stretchy so the fit is a little more forgiving than a non stretch alternative. However these jeans are not the same as skinny jeans. Youre not supposed to squeeze into them.For that perfect silhouette, you really must pay atrention to your waist AND hip measurements. If the difference between your waist and hips is greater than 15" i.e. You're a wasp waist hourglass (i kind of envy you guys), or a wasp waist pear: you want to make sure these are the right fit for your hips first. Thet should give that extra 1-1.5 according to the chart, or even get a size up. After you get them you could take them to a tailor to custom fit the waist (if you got a perfect hip size) and the hip area to perfection (thats where the larger size comes in) and these would look SUPER AMAZING on you.A banana figure may need a small adjustment at the waist or hips. They could possibly size down if their hips and waist have a very small difference since the material stretches.If you have an apple or inverted triangle figure, you should pay the most attention to your waist size. If necessary, you can also have the hips adjusted to improve the line if your silhouette.Final thoughts: i am happy that I can find wide leg jeans easier now. Before, i would just make do with boot cut jeans (i like those a lot too). I had to wait a while for them to come back in style (jeans at least). However, i dont think it should be like this. Jeans arent supposed ti be like this! Different jeans flatter different figures in various ways. For instance an inverted triangle figure might have a more striking silhouette in a set of jeans with a harem pant fit, or a Monroe style jean. Both would balance out the shoulder line quite well. An apple body would probably rock some bell bottoms like a champ by highlighting slender thighs and having the bell to balance their upper body.Each figure can create the perfect silhouette for their personality and figure. So... Look at all the various jean styles available and choose whats best for YOUR body and personality.After all comfortable clothes that compliment our figures are always the best!

Title: Snug at waist. Flattering, sorta.
Review: These jeans are nice and thick, but I got the long length and they touch the ground with heels. I’m 5’8”, weight 155 pounds. I have ordered the regular length to see if that makes any difference. Still not sure about the fit, although they are a little snug at the waist, they fit very smoothly there, it’s the extra fabric under the rear in back that’s sort of unattractive. Elephant pants are all the thing, and these feel rather elegant on, but I’m still on the fence.

Title: These are wonderful
Review: It was so nice to put these on and have room — a nice, loose fit, kind of like a blouse for your legs. They hang beautifully, and are very comfortable. Four stars for looks and comfort; but wow, they are long. They seem to be designed to wear with boots or heels, but I wear neither. They scuff the ground, unfortunately. I’ve not ventured to go to “short”, but will think about it. But if you wear some height in your shoes, you’ll love these if you’re tired of the skinny jeans era.

Title: runs very large everywhere except in waist
Review: These were exactly what I was looking for gray wide hem bought my usual size in Lee's which I wear all the time. Love the color everything about them except the sizing. I am 5'4" 32" waist small straight hips and I could have fit another person in there with me. They are way too long for a 5'4" woman I had probably 5" of material I would have to cut off hem. The waist was doable but snug, everywhere else was way too large. I am so disappointed. Sending them back. Boo

Review: Very flattering to my full figure! High - waisted and wide-legged. Perfect length for a short person like me. I get lots of compliments when I wear them. A little pricey for me but well worth the expense. I love these jeans and plan to buy all the styles!

Title: Very flattering / Highly recommend
Review: I am SO pleasantly surprised with these jeans! First of all, I am 5'10" and super jazzed when "tall" pants truly are made for tall women! The tall version here is perfect for women up to 6'0" and at my height, I can even wear a heel. Second, the cut is very flattering with a true high-waist and wide leg (not flare) that perfectly compliments the derrière, then flows into a nice almost-palazzo style. Third, the denim is top quality, size chart is accurate, and they have a bit of stretch for comfort but still keep the proper shape. (No saggy bottoms!) The jeans are 4.5-star on their own, but the price point makes them 5+!

La mezclilla debe ser lavada antes de usarse, debido al tono oscuro, y luego de ello, se revela el verdadero color de la tela, que es más desgastado que la foto, pero no en estilo, solo es que la tela de esta mezclilla es así y es muy bonita y suave. El modelo en “Long” me quedó perfecto y estoy fascinada, soy muy alta, mido seis pies o 1.83m, y estos jeans no solo tienen el largo que llega a mis pies, sino que también son verdaderamente de tiro alto, ya que sí me llegan a la cintura y hacen una forma muy favorable, siendo justos en cadera y cintura y amplios a partir del muslo en corte correcto. Definitivamente, la marca Lee, es la marca perfecta para mí, con la veracidad en la descripción de sus tallas.

Review: Good-ish fit, flattering & not gape at the waist.BUT NOT 99% cotton -- just so as you know. 94% cotton, 4% "Elastomultiester", 2% Elastane. It does not feel like cotton jeans at all. Soft out of the packaging, yes, but very stretchy-feeling. Fine, if that's what you want, but that was not what I was looking for. You can tell it'll be hot and sticky in warm weather & suspect won't hold up as well as 99% cotton. For the $70.00 price, I was hoping that it would be as advertised.
