Title: Most comfortable shoes ever.
Review: These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I bought them for hiking on damp mornings and in wetlands. They’re perfect for that - warm, dry and very stable. But, after less than a week of owning them, I want to wear them everywhere all the time. (So much so that just went ahead and ordered another pair of keens with a low top.) It did take a me a few days to adjust to the higher top as I usually don’t wear a mid-top shoe - but needed one for hiking during foliage as it get slippery out there - but the insoles were perfect from day one. Can’t say enough great things about the design - that wide toe box PLUS heel lock is real so you don’t feel like you’re sliding all around inside them or have to tighten the laces as far in as they go as happens in the some other zero-drop wide toe box shoes.

Title: KEEN hiking boots
Review: I haven’t used the boots, but I have used a shorter version of the same model for a couple of seasons while traveling in Iceland, Greenland, various national parks in the USA. The sole is stable, front is very well protected. They are good for wide feet. However I noticed that the shoes are wider than the boots although they are exactly of the same size and width. Still they fit well.

Title: Sturdy and comfortable hiking boot
Review: This is my second pair. The first pair I bought from a retailer I still use on less hilly terrain as I've worn down the tread. I've easily hiked 700 humocky miles and some road walks, in all kids of weather, with my first pair. I liked them so much that I bought a second pair thru Amazon. These are not waterproof boots. I'd say more water resistant. It helps to occassionally (at least annually) clean and condition the leather boots with a proper leather cleaner to retain the water repelancy and leather's condition thus extending the life of the boot. The insoles can be removed for easy drying or if you need to insert an orthodic or a replacement insole. The soles grip nicely to rugged trails. The boots provide good ankle support and offer great toe protection from rocks, roots, stumps, etc. The wide toe box allows my toes room for expansion in hot summer or for heavier socks in winter.

Title: Women's Keen Hiking boots
Review: A Swiss Army Knife for Your Feet.As an avid hiker, I embarked on a solo adventure to Switzerland, where I put Keen's women's hiking boots to the ultimate test. These boots are a dream to wear. They provide exceptional arch support and cushioning, making them a joy to hike in for hours on end. The padded collar and tongue prevent chafing and offer a snug fit. Switzerland's unpredictable weather was no match for these boots. They kept my feet bone-dry through torrential downpours, snow-covered trails, and muddy bogs. The breathable construction allowed my feet to stay cool and comfortable even during strenuous ascents. Not only did these boots excel in Switzerland, but I've also been using them for swamp trails in Florida. They effectively protect my feet from water, thorns, and debris. Their versatility makes them a must-have for any outdoor enthusiast.Cons:Slippery on wet flagstone and sugar sand. The treads on the soles do not provide adequate traction on these specific surfaces, leading to a lack of grip and potential for slipping. Ask me how I know, LOL...

Title: Finally found a good boot
Review: I have never owned KEENs before. I do however have wide feet and toes that like to splay out. I love to hike especially in the mountains. If you’ve ever hiked inclines, you know how unfortunate it feels to have squished and bruised toes. I debated on a size 8 or 8w. I decided to go for the 8w. I will say they are very wide. For me, I love this. But I want to give the disclosure that I believe the regular size also runs a little wide as well. The insoles in these are a dream. Not memory foam soft, but comfortable right out of the box. They are sturdy enough to feel like you have enough support. I LOVE that these have a strap on the side. This allows you to tighten the boots around your ankle and keeps your feet from pushing to the front of the boot. For inclines, this is so so important. The arch support is phenomenal. These are very waterproof from what I have tested them in. Puddles and small streams mainly. KEEN as a brand have been pfas free since 2018 and keep the environment in mind when making products. Overall very happy with the purchase, price point, and company as a whole.

Title: No break in period
Review: Comfortable right out of the box. Wore a lot on a cross country road trip in many National Parks. Lots of walking and hiking. Feet didn't get cold or hot and sweaty. Wore on motorcycle rides and wind didn't go thru. Perfect hiking boots.

Title: Expensive boots w/ terrible grip
Review: I was recommended these hiking boots by my parents because I was heading to Costa Rica. I bought them back in April 24’. I used them multiple times for good lengths of time over several different terrains to break them in. I even wore them to Disneyland to walk ten miles in. Every time I wore them my feet felt like they would fall apart. So uncomfortable that I ended up purchasing inserts to put in them. Fast forward to June during my trip. I wore them on the hikes through the rain forest and let me tell you I did not feel confident in them keeping me stable one bit. I was constantly focused on where to step in fear of losing the grip. They were great to protect my feet and ankles from critters but that was it. Two days ago I was walking around the main city and had my hiking sandals on, walked 4 miles and felt great but it was starting to rain and the streets can get a little slick. I decided before heading out on a walking food tour to switch to the boots to help keep me from slipping. They did the OPPOSITE! I can’t count how many times I felt the shoe slip as I walked. Ultimately I ended up slipping and unable to save myself. I fell hard on my knee resulting in a giant slice and scrape. I couldn’t go back and change because the tour had started. So I’m walking through the city with bloody knee and walking for another 4 miles before finally making it back to the hotel and my feet were literally screaming. The tops of my feet were so strained, the bottoms hurt and I got a large blister on one of my toes (which I hadn’t gotten one yet). I would’ve felt safer in the hiking sandals and more confident in not slipping/falling. I one hundred percent wouldn’t purchase these again nor recommend them.

Review: Lightweight but sturdy. Provide great ankle support and arch support. I have flat feet and the insole provided is very comfortable. Fits perfectly as an 8 wide while wearing cushioned hiking socks.
