Title: Ralphie and Randy are Adolescents
Review: The movie is a cute sequel to the original, though it lacks some of the original movie's charm. Sadly, the actors portraying the Parker family just "don't fit". They do an okay job, however, but they have lost the spirit of the characters. The dialogue at points lacks believability and seems more contrived. The movie is primarily about Ralphie falling in love with, not a Red Ryder BB Gun, but a used car. Oh, and he wins the girl of his dreams.

Title: It's okay
Review: It's hard to follow up a classic with a version #2. It's okay and glad to have it in my collection but I prefer the "Christmas Story Christmas" movie as a follow up.

Title: Better than the first
Review: I had watched the original Christmas Story and I will admit that it was not one of my favorites. I watched this one with no anticipation of watching a good movie. I thought it was better than the first one. Admittedly you have to watch the first one to make sense of some scenes in this one, but this one is better and is also funnier.

Review: The seller did an excellent job packing the DVD. There was cardboard in the envelope to protect the case. I enjoy this movie but it's not as good as the original or Ralphie comes home.

Title: Actually a Good Sequel - Who Would have Known?
Review: No, this is not just like the original 1983 "A Christmas Story". But it was have this or nothing. Things are much the same in the Parker household, except it's several years later and Ralphie is almost 16. All of the actors were different, but they came close to the first movie. It did keep much of the original flavor of the first one, tho. This Ralphie looked like the other Ralphie would have looked like at his age, and he did a real good job. There was a narrator in this one too, who did not sound UNlike the late Jean Sheppard. There are enough reminders of the first movie to make this a good sequel, tho it is not a remake. There are at least two other movies Jean Sheppard did that many may not be aware of: "Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss" is the Parker family's summer vacation. This one is probably the best. "It Runs in the Family", with the Parkers going to the State Fair didn't seem to carry the same feeling as the others.

Review: This movie is another in the series based on the characters from the classic cult movie A Christmas Story. It is now yearslater and Ralphie is a teenager in pursuit of his first car. Through mis-adventure and subsequent hard work Ralphieachieves his goals. The car involved is a nice piece ; a late 40's Mercury . Does not use the same actors as A Christmas Story,and is not as outstandingly good , but is still a fine movie and worth a look see for those that know the other movies inthe series.

Review: I like this movie because it a Christmas movie that the whole family can enjoy the movies. It a great movie. This is where Ralph became a teenager want something huge for Christmas. I recommend this movies for the whole family to watch. Definitely a 5 Star!

Review: I enjoyed this but not every one thought it as good as the first Christmas Story.Some very funny scenes. Should have let people know there was narration . Made it easier to understand I thought. Liked voice. We watched it when we finished dinner on Boxing Day, there was 7 , from age 9yrs. to myself 67yrs. Very keen to see it as first one was liked a lot but I think Iliked this better. Would get a sequel in future .
