Title: This is real insurance or buyer protection; it works!
Review: I had bought a hand/finger massager awhile back and was concerned about long term durability of the product, so Asurion protection was offered. Normally, I don't purchase insurance for most purchases, but being that the original warranty was so short, I thought I should and I'm glad I did.Sure enough, the massager failed me recently (stopped working) so I filed a claim to Asurion.The entire process was done online, it was fast and easy, and they didn't make me jump through a lot of hoops. I printed out a return shipping label, took it to the UPS store for drop-off, and before the return even had a chance to make it to its destination, Asurion gave me an Amazon gift card code for what I originally paid for the item. Great service.Now, I just recommend using your own judgement on what you buy this insurance for. Some items are reviewed so highly and/or just have incredible durability so you may really not want to purchase insurance. But for other items that kind of fit a niche customer base (hand massagers/VR headsets/coffee roasters) you get the idea, this Asurion insurance might make sense.

Title: Totally worth the little extra
Review: When the seller gave the wrong contact info and they and Amazon pretty much gave a run around ( Amazon is usually great, but not so much this time), Asurion rep made it easy- just like it's supposed to be! A relief when we really shouldn't have had to work so hard for a remedy for a defective item. Appreciated.Will purchase again, this time with less hesitation.Only criticism is Asurion's online claim process was not easy or effective.
