Review: This could not have been a more worth it purchase. Bought this on Prime Day and just set it up in my apartment. The directions and setup are literally idiot proof - it could not possibly be any easier. I definitely recommend if you don't have a wired in alarm system and want to feel more secure!

Title: It’s Just OK
Review: This is a good economical choice and for the most part the system is very efficient and SimplySafe support is amazing. I use the system to secure my investment residential properties.Pros: It’s very easy to add additional devices to expand coverage. I added additional entry sensors, external siren and camera with ease. Remote access by phone or iPad is amazing and gives you visibility to the status of each device and real time camera audio and visual of the property. Can also arm and disarm the system remotely by phone. The system notifies you by email or text (your choice) when there is a loss of power or WiFi. All devices are wireless so no drilling or installation of wires.Cons: The motion sensors go offline often and sometimes the only way to reset them is to have someone physically at the property to hit the reset button on the device. If you are remotely monitoring the device that’s very inconvenient. Occasionally the cameras also go offline but they generally reset themselves. You will need WiFi in order to use this system, for some people that may be a problem.

Title: Overall happy with it
Review: I've had this system for a few months and I'm happy with it. The mandatory free month trial of the full professional monitoring plan was annoying for me for several reasons. But once the month was over, I changed to a self-monitor plan, which is perfect for my needs. The system works great and I really like the entry sensor alerts. I recently added two water sensors and a smoke alarm, which provide a lot of peace of mind.

Title: Best system for the money
Review: This is the second house in which we are using Simply Safe for security. It was so easy in our first house and the support was beyond what I expected. I could ALWAYS get someone on the phone for any issue. Some of the new system devices are even better. Love the motion activated camara. We use this as a camera, motion sensor and it has a great and loud alarm! We checked out other systems and for the monthly fee, Simply safe is simply the best deal.

Title: Simplisafe Customer Service issues
Review: Installed the system and I was happy for the most part. What I am unhappy about is Simplisafe Customer service themselves. I have a sensor that connects/disconnects intermittently and Simplisafe verified it was defective and needed to be replaced. My 30day window with Amazon had passed and Simplisafe would only replace IF I supplied them with CC information. I do not have my system monitored and was not comfortable supplying my CC. Even though they know it is defective they will not replace it unless I give them CC information. My opinion for the retail cost of a $14 sensor (probably $2 to make) they didn't need to make it about needing my financial information. Even after politely escalating to a supervisor I was shut down and told they could not help me.My question is what ever happened to Customer Service?? For a Company to know and acknowledge they have a defective product and not be able to support it without asking for your CC information, knowing their primary business is a subscription monitoring model??Again so far everything else seems ok, but only been a month and this is how they started the relationship, and that is after spending $500 on product. Makes you question if this is where you want to spend your money??
