Title: simple and convenient
Review: This alarm is the best way to add some security to your home without breaking the bank. I ordered two for my front and back door. It comes with everything you need to install the alarms. The adhesive is strong enough to stay glued on the surface, whether it is the moulding or the door itself. The first few times, i had to readjust the positioning and it was still able to stick securely.The sound of the alarm is loud enough to alert neighbors. It can scare pets, so that should be a consideration when purchasing. I either leave the mode either off or Alarm. The Chime sound is not as loud but can still scare pets. I believe this is a great solution for anyone on a budget, especially those renting.Overall, i would recommend this product for those who want something simple that still gets the job done.

Title: Loud!
Review: I’ve not tested each of these so far, but the one I activated seems pretty cool. They are small and very loud! The chime setting is nice, and the alarm setting was surprisingly loud. They are lightweight, so I feel like they can be stuck securely with the right tape. I plan to use mine for travel alarms for hotel rooms.

Title: Great Security Alarm!!!
Review: My Daughter is 5 year's old and Autistic. I bought these to put on my windows and doors to alarm me if she tries to wander. It's very scary and keeps you up at night worring. I'm very happy with this product. There is 3 settings. We have our doors "chime" when someone opens them, and our windows are set to "alarm". It's loud! I can here any of the sounds on the other side of our ranch style home. I can also switch them "off" if I want my windows open or so forth. I highly recommend them!

Title: A small price for peace of mind
Review: Small price to pay for peace of mind and easy to install: I used my own double sided tape and not the 3M tape provided. I did use the 3M square(s) under the alarm to increase it's height for some windows. They come with button batteries installed. Just open the battery compartment, hold your finger over the batteries, and pull out the clear tab. Next, apply tape to the flat side of the small oblong piece and affix it to the window frame with the ARROW pointed toward the alarm. Apply tape to the side of the alarm with the ARROW (careful that you do not apply tape over the lid to the battery compartment!). Turn alarm on and slide the unit back and forth under the affixed piece to determine the proper position. Once located, remove the film over the tape and affix. Note: You may need to apply 3M piece(s) to the bottom of the alarm to raise it's height (although do not remove the film on the very bottom or it will not slide back and forth :-).These little devices are loud enough to wake you up if someone tries to break in through a window. They are also quite sensitive to touch (i.e. lowering my blinds onto them will activate the alarm) so I imagine they would also work if someone tried to break the window. This is only one of many small things we can and should do to protect ourselves and our home.

Title: Could not unscrew to activate
Review: I got two of the above alarm, and could not unscrew to activate them. I took one to my maintenance guy. Afer he tried several times he took it somewhere and got the screw out. The pictures on the site does not show a screw. According to instructions, there is no screw.. It is a wonderful product. I want to order some more, but I am afraid I will get the ones with the screw.

Review: Compre el paquete que incluye seis y son realmente faciles de instalar. Traen un plastiquito adherente de 3M para pegarse a cualquier tipo de superficie muy resistente. Necesitas un desarmador para poder activar las baterias. Me siento mucho mas seguro en casa, el ruido de la alarma que hacen al activarse es muy alto y todo mundo se dara cuenta cuando alguien intente entrar a tu casa.

Review: I live in a somewhat remote rural area, and in a house with a number of downstairs windows and doors. For security reasons, and following some minor thefts in other properties nearby, I needed either a full alarm system or individual alarms for windows and doors. I saw these, and thought I would give them a try.There are two parts to each alarm - the main alarm and a smaller, magnetised piece that fits on either the door/window or door/window frame. The parts are attached to window/door by the supplied double sided sticky patch (this is a surprisingly strong bonding sticky patch, and I have no doubt it will remain in place for some time). The two pieces of the alarm shoould be attached in such a way that there is a narrow gap between the two parts.To turn the alarm on one simply moves the side switch on the main alarm piece down as far as it will go. (Moving it half way down gives a single chime when the door/window is opened). To turn off the alarm simply close the window/door, or physically move the switch to the 'off' position.The alarm itself is quite loud (110 - 120 decibels - I have seen both quoted in literature and on the box! Whatever it is, it's loud!)This package, with 12 alarms for £50 (the price I paid) has turned out to be good value as far as meeting what I needed, the ease of installation and the noise each alarm makes when triggered; as such I can recommend them.(These are my own thoughts on an item I have bought myself and found useful.)
