Title: Cracked thread
Review: UPDATE. Customer service reached out to me and took care of it. Great service and support.Opened this product, had it installed by a licensed plumber in our new build and then it proceeded to leak. Turns out it had a crack on the thread so it was unusable and we tossed the box so I can’t return it. I had to go to the local plumbing store for a replacement. Disappointed that I’m out the money for a product that I received in damaged condition.

Title: Best Well Filter Ever!!!!
Review: We recently installed a pool at our house. I was told that well water was going to be very hard to manage. I did a little research and decided to buy this filter. It’s amazing! Even the pool company who built our pool was surprised at how clean our water is!!!I get my water tested every week at Leslie’s pool and they are also shocked at the cleanliness of my pool water.

Title: Best way to Install when leaks arise-----It will
Review: My first attempt installing this was a nightmare, it leaked no matter what I did. Finally got it sealed then when it came time to change the filter it leaked again. The filter housing is well made, it is heavy duty, has dual O rings on the blue housing at the top above the threads. SOOOO>>>>>>> Here's what I did that solved my problems, FIRST the threads in this filter are NOT true NPT so when you buy a bushing to reduce 1 inch down to 3/4 inch it is very sloppy. MFG says 10 wraps of Teflon tape.... I had more than that with pipe dope, still dripped. The threads are brass, so my first install I used a brass bushing's (1 inch reducing to 3/4 inch)The main problem is...the depth of the female threads (of the filter) is too deep for the length of the brass bushing, so the bushing can't bottom out before hitting the filter housing on the outside. Which means the sloppy threads with the American NPT bushing is difficult to seal.So, I went to the local hardware and got new bushings made of Galvanized pipe again 1 inch down to 3/4 inch. The galv. bushing has about two or three threads more in length. BUT.... because the bottom of the female threads is flat, and so is the bottom of the male bushing threads. I got an O ring and made sure it had to be pushed in to set flat inside the female ports, which takes 90% of the stress of the water pressure. See the picture...Now the bushing does not bottom out...but does squash the O ring to help with the seal.Think of it like putting a nozzle on the end of your garden hose. (It will leak without a washer) I still used Teflon tape on all threads but did not need more than 4-5 wraps. NO LEAKS YAHOO!!BE SURE TO...Use food grade grease on the rubber O rings and threads of the blue housing when installing filter, and when changing filters.DO NOT...sweat copper near the Teflon tape...sweat the pipe fittings first then wrap the tape and install the pipe, making the last connection (sweat) AWAY from the Teflon tape. (Even then I used a wet rag wrapped around the Tape to absorb heat)Hold the RED button down while SLOWLEY filling the filter with water, let go when water comes out vent.HIGHLY RECCOMEND........Installing bypass for service...so that you don't have to shut down the whole house and drain the pipes. See 1st Picture.Also be sure to release the pressure (RED BUTTON) when changing the filter, helps un-screwing the housing.One last thing.... the filter that comes with this when new only measures 9 &3/4 inches tall. I have tried 10-inch-tall filters that are supposed to fit but seem to be too tall for the housing to screw in far enough for the two O rings to seal. (again see #1 pic-very little gap when screwed in all the way) Only 1/4 turn past snug.It can work 🙂

Title: Wonderful system!
Review: First off, yes I am a DYI guy and no I am not done tidying the install up, so please refrain from killing my install! System is easy to install with easy instructions. Makes a major difference in the taste of my water and clarity. I had a small in line filter for years that just didn't cut it. My wife is very happy with the results as she is a picky water drinker. Our fridge also has a filter but did minimal to clear up the taste. I like that it also has pressure gauges. Would recommend to anyone. It is listed for well water but I am on city.

Title: No support, faulty design, can't get a return call no matter how you try
Review: Leaky brass fitting that is encased in their housing is leaking, no matter how many thread wraps I use. CANNOT get a call back. I've filled out their support form on the website twice and emailed them 3 times.I am moving on to a reputable brand, these folks are non responsive.Edit: Tried one more time. Note that their phone number listed on the ad does not even work! $500 for a company that doesn't have a phone # for customer service and doesn't respond to email! Lovely.

Title: Pretty Good Filter so far
Review: All was good, but if you buy one use a good amount of thread tape on the fittings going into the housing on each end.Other than the leak issue all went well!

Title: Caution, No Instructions, Check the filter in the housing.
Review: I would first say the canister filter, which arrived with a filter already inside the housing, initially seemed to work well and was easily installed, HOWEVER, there were no instructions nor cautions in, nor on the packaging and I had to download a YouTube video to be sure I was installing it correctly. After five weeks and about 2200 gallons of water usage the tap water started to taste badly again. Assuming that that was the life of the filter I decided to replace it. Upon removing the filter from the housing I was totally shocked to find that the plastic wrapping had not been removed before it was installed by the manufacturer (which left me wondering how much filtering was actually taking place). Instructions would have cautioned the purchaser to unscrew the housing and remove the filter's wrapping before completing the installation.
