Title: Accurate, Reliable, and Easy-to-Use Weather Station - Loved it!
Review: I couldn’t be more impressed with the Sainlogic Wireless Weather Station! This is an absolute game-changer for anyone who loves to keep an eye on weather conditions, whether for gardening, outdoor activities, or just curiosity. The LCD color display is stunning—bright, crisp, and easy to read from any angle. It provides all the essential data in a well-organized layout, making it simple to quickly glance and get a comprehensive overview of indoor and outdoor conditions. The outdoor sensor is highly accurate, giving precise readings for temperature, humidity, wind speed/direction, rainfall, and barometric pressure. I particularly love the built-in alarms for customizable thresholds—it’s been so helpful for planning my day.One of my favorite features is the PC interface. Downloading and exporting historical weather data is seamless, and it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys analyzing trends or keeping records. The wireless transmission from the outdoor sensor to the base station is reliable and has worked flawlessly so far.Setup was a breeze with the included instructions, and everything feels sturdy and well-built. This is a high-quality, reliable weather station that delivers exceptional performance. Highly recommended for weather enthusiasts or anyone who wants a deeper insight into their local environment!

Title: Things that work
Review: Easy to setup, display connected to the sensors, no problems. Set the date and time and you're ready to go. Sensor calibration is good, even the rain gauge is accurate. Things that work.

Title: Accurate and reasonably priced - this is my second one!!
Review: My wife purchased one of these for me for Christmas 3+ years ago...and it finally died. Lasted longer than any other brand I have ever had so bought another one!!This newer model has a larger base unit - bigger screen should make it easier to read. But not really - the viewing angle is very narrow (you have to be looking straight at it) and the graphic for wind direction is dark green on a black background...very hard to read. The backlight at the highest setting is barely bright enough. The other displayed functions are clear and easy to understand. Funny - because the older model had none of these shortcomings.I've compared the readings to a local news station weather forecast and the unit is very accurate. A friend has a $2000 Davis unit and the two agree to within a decimal point (example...his unit says outside temp is 77.4 degrees, the SainLogic might say 77.3). This is one big reason I purchased another SainLogic branded unit.Installation is a breeze. Everything you need is included except batteries. My only complaint is the pole you mount the outdoor unit onto is very short - only about a foot. So to get the wind sensors out in the clear you'll need something longer. The plastic bracket is best suited to attaching to a wood pole (think 4x4) which is kinda awkward. The hardware is stainless steel and held up well.As is typical with home consumer grade weather stations the outside unit eventually succumbs to the elements. I live right on the Oregon coast so our climate is extreme...salty air causes rapid corrosion and high winds and heavy rain take a toll. This is what failed on the old one...one by one each of the remote sensors disappeared...rain gauge first, then wind speed...finally the whole thing stopped. It lasted almost 3-1/2 years which is amazing for a $100 product. Was going to just replace the outside unit but a whole new complete system is the same price.A nice bonus - the old indoor unit works with the new outdoor unit - so now I have two indoor locations to view. If you already have a SainLogic station that has a dead outside unit most likely you'll have the same luck.SainLogic offers a 1 year warranty extension is you register your product within 14 days of receipt. My experience with their customer service has been very good. They seem to stand behind the product. So if your looking for an inexpensive (relatively speaking) weather station I don't think you could go wrong buying one of these.

Title: Easy setup and great customer service
Review: I am very pleased with the weather station but super impressed with customer service! Setup was easy and all the readings were within stated parameters. I especially liked having the ability to calibrate temp, humidity and even wind speed (need calibrated equipment to do so). The display is bright and easy to read. Now about customer service. About 3 months in the sensor stopped reporting outdoor temperature. I emailed the manufacture (on the back of the instruction booklet) and Andy promptly replied with a step by step troubleshooting guide. Unfortunately these steps did not solve the issue. As the device was still in warranty (bought in April and reported problem in August) Andy promptly sent me a new unit. I was very impressed with the promptness and ease with which the issue was resolved. I highly recommend this product.

Title: It's ok
Review: As a basic/budget weather station. It works as intended and set up wasn't difficult. A couple of annoying things: the rain gauge resets itself every hour so recording a simple all day rainfall amount is impossible. Not sure why it was designed that way. The wind gauge does seem off, as others have stated in their reviews. Wind direction is but that may be various factors - I can't tell if the tip of the triangle for wind direction is the intended direction or if the graphic is backwards. The picture graphic on the display doesn't seem to mean anything either - it'll show clear skies, sun and flowers in the graphic when it's cloudy and rainy outside. It would be nice if the graphic showed tomorrow's conditions. I bought this weather station on sale for 79.99$. If you're really into weather and want to get into the details of weather, I would recommend saving your money for a better station and instruments. If you're getting it for the kids to enjoy or if you just want the basics, this one is fine. My kids enjoy it so I'll hang onto it but keep my eyes open for a better one.

Customers say

Customers like the ease of setup, functionality, and readability of the weather station. They mention it works well, is easy to mount on a pole, and provides great weather information. Customers are also happy with the display quality, value for money, and build quality. However, some customers have mixed opinions on its accuracy.
